AI gaming and AI agent platform Memoria has launched its own Layer 1 (L1) Chain, now live on mainnet on Avalanche and powered by AvaCloud.
The Memoria L1 Chain is the new blockchain home for the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem. Built on Avalanche and powered by AvaCloud, the ecosystem’s dedicated new network is said to mark “a huge step forward” in creating a more seamless, immersive, and fully integrated experience across the AI-focused gaming platform.
The mainnet for this AI gaming chain went live on April 15th, with the official X announcement revealing plans to migrate all smart contracts to the new network, move their whole gaming ecosystem after the end of their game's closed beta, and distribute the $ALBERT token airdrop exclusively on this new blockchain.
A day later, the developers announced that the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem migration is now underway.
Here are the details you need to integrate the Memoria L1 Chain into your wallet:
You can also connect your wallet to this page to quickly add the chain to your wallet using the “Add to Wallet” icon button that is located under the transaction count graph: https://subnets.avax.network/memoria/details
The migration plans for the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem are divided into 2 phases, with some parts of the first phase already completed.
For Phase 1, which was announced in an X thread on April 16th to last around 1 week, the developers have been focused on completing 7 goals:
At the time of writing, it seems that 2 out 7 goals have been completed so far: airdrop $ALBERT tokens via Memo-Tickets & Memo-Points, and migrate all NFTs.
The airdrop was completed on April 21st, so all eligible players should now have received tokens in their wallet on the new L1 Chain. Bridging is planned to go live soon to allow token holders to bridge $ALBERT tokens from Memoria Chain to AVAX C-Chain and vice versa. NFT migration was completed a day later on April 22nd, meaning all Albert NFTs and Albert memory spores are now on the ecosystem’s new chain and delivered to holders as a 1:1 NFT airdrop, with Dynamic Traits saved and migrated as well.
Albert NFT staking has been paused and will likely resume soon on L1 to allow holders to once again stake and earn rewards. The new Memoria Artifact Collection will feature new NFT contracts that will not only include AL Memory Spores, Booster Items and Spores, but also new in-game NFT items. The $ALBERT token will serve as the core currency that powers the new chain, meaning all transactions, gas fees, and marketplace trades will be done using the ecosystem token. $ALBERT holders can look forward to a surprise airdrop. It doesn’t seem like a snapshot of token holders has been taken yet, or it hasn’t been announced yet. If you do end up included in the snapshot though, you can look forward to a surprise airdrop bundle featuring more $ALBERT L1 tokens alongside wrapped AVAX on the new chain.
Once all of this is completed, the team will head into Phase 2. No duration for the second phase was given, but we do know that it is planned to consist of 4 important milestones:
The ecosystem’s upcoming native marketplace will allow players to trade and buy NFTs using $ALBERT tokens. If you enjoyed the Memoria: Idle Chronicles Closed Beta, which ended on April 18th, then you’re likely looking forward to the new Idle Chronicles season, which will be an early access season on the new chain that will feature various new patches for a better web3 gaming experience. Blitz Chronicles is said to be a new game experience in which you will “battle it out in style!” on the new L1. The rework for the Daily Wheel is set to make daily spins more rewarding by completely connecting it to a new L1 rewards system, for which more info is likely planned to be revealed in the future.
This month, Animalia's L1 Chain also went live on Avalanche mainnet, and MapleStory Universe launched the Henesys Chain on Avalanche as well. Earlier this year, Paradise Tycoon chose Avalanche for the $MOANI token launch.
