One of the most-hyped web3 MMORPGs is finally breaking its silence. After months of speculations, Treeverse is now teasing the arrival of its first official season — and the launch of its $END token. If you've been watching this space, it's time to dial in.
At its core, Treeverse is a classless, top-down MMORPG that ditches traditional roles in favor of flexible character builds. Players start their journey in the city of Lorwick, where they craft their first weapon and head into dungeons. The combat is action-based and fast, with a clean gameplay loop built around questing, crafting, and conquering new areas. You can party up with friends, go solo, or build your own home base. If you've played old-school RuneScape, this will feel familiar — except it's built for mobile and modern PCs. What really sets it apart is that the entire experience is designed to be enjoyable even without touching crypto. The blockchain elements are there, but hidden under the hood unless you go looking for them.
Endless Clouds has been quietly refining Treeverse since 2021. With over 40 months of straight updates, they've taken the long road. Now, with the last pre-season patch going live on April 4th, it looks like the stage is set. The recent update added a new Dungeon Challenge for high-level players, a basic skilling system, improved combat responsiveness, and experience scaling. Potion cooldowns have been added, client-side crashes have been fixed, and there's even a new Brazil server to improve latency for LATAM players. All of these changes point to one thing: Season 1 is coming, and it's coming real soon.
Alongside this gameplay update is the long-awaited reveal of the $END token. For years, fans have speculated about how its economy would work. Now we know that $END is an ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of 500 million. It will serve as the premium currency in Treeverse, used to buy cosmetics, access special events, and unlock exclusive content. The launch is planned for at least one month after the end of the reward campaign for Season 1, so don't expect it to drop immediately. That said, the team has confirmed that all rewards earned in Season 1 will unlock straight away at token generation.
The first public reward campaign tied to Season 1 will distribute 2.76% of the total $END supply. Players can also earn bonus rewards in $MON and $IMX tokens. The rewards are split across different leaderboards, including Dungeon Challenge, XP gain, gold collected, and monster shards. The biggest rewards go to top leaderboard performers, but active users and skilling players (those who take part in mining, fishing, woodcutting, etc) also get a cut. If you hold one of the original Treeverse NFTs — like an NFTree, Plot, or Timeless — you'll get reward multipliers. NFTree holders, for instance, can get up to 1.75x bonuses.
Treeverse has always had NFTs at its core, but the team has made it clear that those assets won't be fully activated until the game is stable. The three collections — NFTrees, Plots, and Timeless — were all launched in 2021 and have seen over $100 million in trading volume. NFTrees will eventually generate fruit that buffs your character and can be sold for $END. Plots are customizable home bases with interior and exterior designs. Timeless characters are interoperable avatars that can be used in Treeverse and other virtual worlds. While none of this is live yet, the team is sticking to a longer timeline, saying it will be ready in about two years. The goal is clear: build the game first, activate the web3 perks later.
The team behind it all is Endless Clouds, a mobile-first game studio founded in 2021. They operate as a global team of around 35, with an office in Taiwan. Backed by top names from Axie Infinity, AAVE, and Pudgy Penguins, they've raised over $4.2 million to date — including a fresh $1.75 million in April 2025. They've also partnered with Immutable zkEVM to make on-chain actions feel smooth and invisible, with no gas fees and no clunky wallets.
With that, Treeverse is live right now. You can download the game from the iOS App Store, Google Play, or Epic Games Store.
