Treasure DAO Unveils Bold New Roadmap Featuring AI Agent Marketplace, Smolworld, and Canopy

Treasure, the ecosystem behind the $MAGIC token and one of web3’s earliest community-driven gaming networks, has announced a major strategic pivot introducing artificial intelligence, autonomous agents, and deeper IP expansion across its flagship universes. The roadmap, revealed on April 15 via Treasure’s official X account, outlines four key pillars: Smolworld, Canopy, an AI Agent Marketplace, and scaling tools for AI-powered agents.

The update introduces a set of projects designed to converge gaming, AI, and on-chain activity in new ways. Treasure’s ambition is to grow beyond collectibles and DeFi-linked gamification and instead offer dynamic, persistent AI companions and simulation-driven worlds where user-created agents become active participants across ecosystems.

Virtual Companions and AI Agents: A New Class of Onchain Life

At the heart of Treasure’s next phase is introducing AI agents, fully autonomous digital entities that can navigate social media, play web3 games, manage DeFi activity, and grow through interactions. These agents are powered by $MAGIC and enabled through a new proprietary system called Neurochimp, a framework for building persistent, personality-driven AI characters.

Unlike traditional NFT avatars or static PFPs, these agents will possess memory, behavioral context, and an embedded presence across platforms like Discord, X (formerly Twitter), and decentralized applications. 

According to Treasure, users will be able to buy, sell, or customize these agents on a soon-to-launch AI marketplace, where agents’ skills, reputation, and memories become tradable attributes.

Smolworld: The Tamagotchi of Onchain AI

The announcement also revealed Smolworld, a spin-off of Treasure’s beloved Smolverse IP. It’s described as a “Tamagotchi for AI agents”, a simulation game where characters become self-directed beings. Powered by real wallets and encoded wills, AI Smols can live, trade, explore, and form communities autonomously, while interacting with human users via text and voice.

Smolworld aims to turn NFT characters into living digital citizens, with growth and agency tied to both onchain activity and user engagement. According to the roadmap, Smolworld is now in production, with early demos expected later this year.

Canopy Presents as Bridgeworld Expands into Conflict and Collaboration

The fantasy-strategy side of the Treasure ecosystem is also evolving. Canopy, a new mode within Bridgeworld, introduces a higher-stakes dimension of land control, alliances, and warfare. Players will defend Canopy’s territory, uncover secrets, and engage in coordinated onchain campaigns that affect global rewards and outcomes.

Thematically, Canopy continues Bridgeworld’s lore-driven approach but adds a layer of multiplayer conflict where player actions can reshape narrative and resource flows. Production has already begun, with further details expected to drop via the Bridgeworld portal.

A Marketplace for Agents, Not PFPs

Treasure’s AI agent marketplace will deviate from typical NFT marketplaces by focusing on dynamic, skill-bearing assets rather than static images. Here, users can create or purchase agents with distinct personalities and use-cases, whether for gameplay, trading, moderation, or community-building.

The marketplace will also serve as a launchpad for creators and developers to deploy new types of agents or upgrade existing ones, with composability and interoperability built into the system.

Every layer of this roadmap ties back to $MAGIC, Treasure’s ecosystem token. AI agents require $MAGIC to operate, evolve, and transact, acting as an economic utility in every interaction.
