UFO Gaming has recently begun closed alpha testing for its upcoming debut game, Super Galactic. Initially opened up to 1000 testers via a 3-day Gleam campaign giveaway, the developers later revealed that they decided to up the limit to 1200 due to the amount of interest shown in the crypto title.

This first alpha version is only playable on Windows, with an Android port to follow shortly.

All selected alpha testers should have received an email about a week ago, which includes a link to download the game as well as a UID key, which is needed in conjunction with the tester’s email in order to log in and play a slice of the game that will be included in the full release.

The alpha test allows chosen players to play the title’s single-player mode, which has players progress through missions by playing as a robot shooting their way through various aliens across a variety of different planets while using special abilities to their advantage in top-down action-packed gameplay. This testing phase only includes 2 characters, 2 weapons, and a couple of abilities, while blockchain integration remains absent for the time being. The full version will be blockchain-enabled, feature way more items and content, as well as PvP and PvE game modes. A beta version and the official launch are planned for some time this year. Players will need to own an UFOep NFT character in order to play.

UFO Gaming is a play-to-earn ‘dark’ metaverse which will be home to various different games, with Super Galactic being the first one. The ecosystem has the governance token $UFO at its core, while UAP will be an earnable currency in the team’s debut game.
