In celebration of Coinbase’s multi-week Onchain Summer 24’ buildathon event, the team behind sci-fi card game Parallel TCG has launched 3 exclusive mints on the Base network, one of which is a free Open Mint on OpenSea.
What’s the Difference Between the 3 Exclusive Mints?
Each of the 3 exclusive mints have a separate page on OpenSea that all launched on June 26th, and while the ones with a price tag don’t seem to have a deadline, you’ll want to be quick to get the free Open Edition Card Back as that one is only available until June 28th, 8 PM GMT+2. By claiming this free asset, which comes in unlimited supply, you’ll not only get a free card back NFT called Red Sands Scout, but you’ll also receive a bonus AP (Apparition) card pack that gives you 5 random in-game cards. The card back serves as a first sneak peek into the next upcoming major expansion set: Aftermath. A total of 25,553 of these NFTs has been minted at the time of writing.
If you’re willing to spend some ETH, then you can also look towards the other 2 mints: the Starter Bundle and Booster Bundle.
The Starter Bundle is priced at 0.01 ETH (~$34) and contains a Marcolian Assault Training Concept Art Card Back NFT alongside random Starter Deck featuring NFTs that unlock play-and-earn mechanics. You also get 5 in-game random AP packs, meaning a total of 25 random cards to use to your advantage. Users can mint 111 of these bundles per wallet, and while there is no end date, there are only 10,000 Starter Bundles up for grabs.
The same limit and supply number applies to Booster Bundles as well, which cost 0.02 ETH (~$68) each and feature a Stealth Enhancement Concept Art Card Back NFT, a random Planetfall Support Pack and 10 AP card packs.
