Drifter Entertainment has recently released a huge new update for their third-person roguelite shooter Superior, adding in the Hero Hit List feature alongside various new and updated powers for players to use in combat.

The new feature essentially revolves around going on a playthrough where you take down evil heroes and unlock new powers to use when completing objectives and defeating the many bosses that stand in your way.

A total of 20 new powers have been introduced to the co-op title, while 2 have been updated. The updated powers in question are Flare Up and Fork. The former now makes it so that Lava Pools throughout their lifetime inflict more damage, while the latter now makes it so that the Volt Discs you throw end up getting split into two after the first bounce happens.

When it comes to the new powers, there are now 4 new Fire powers, 3 new Ice powers, 4 new Xeno powers, 3 new Force powers and 6 new Volt powers at your disposal. Some of these cool new abilities include Sear, Chilling Blast and Vampire Bullets. Sear is a Fire power that causes Lava Pools to wreak a sudden burst of damage, while Chilling Blast is an Ice power that makes shotguns cause the Chill effect and Vampire Bullets is a Xeno ability which makes it so that 10% of the damage made with auto weapons ends up being converted into health.

Next to these new goodies, the developers have also introduced various gameplay changes and fixed a couple of bugs. You can check out the full patch notes for the latest update here.

Superior is an NFT game part of the Gala Games ecosystem, and a non-NFT version is available on Steam in Early Access.
