The Sandbox, an online gaming platform offering a unique and immersive gaming experience, has opened up its gates to members who are passionate about creating games. The Game Jams are Creator Contests where gaming combines with culture. Creators can also work together towards building the future of the platform.

Furthermore, the team has announced that the registrations for the game jam would be closing on the 7th of December. Players have been asked to register in order to secure a spot. To register, players would be requiring an account in the sandbox and the no-code Game Maker software to create their games. Additionally, the VoxEdit software has been made optional for all players to create their own custom assets.
Players also stand a chance to earn from the Sandbox prize pool of 50,000 SAND. The Sandbox’s native token, SAND, can be used in the purchase of various items in the Sandbox ecosystem. These in-game items include LAND, ASSETS and so on. A sum of 15,000 SAND would be awarded to the 1st place winner, while the second place receives a sum of 8,000 SAND. The 3rd and 4th place winners would be awarded 5,000 SAND and 3,000 SAND respectively. Furthermore, the 5th to 10th Place positions were not left behind as they would be awarded 1,500 SAND.
Exploring Participation
The team has also released a guide for participants to follow in order to ensure they do not miss out on the game jam. Participants are to first create a Sandbox account, then join the platform’s discord channel to stay up to date with other creators. Players can progress further by creating a team of about 1-4 people who would then register for the Game Jam. Once this has been done, each player is good to go and can stay ready for the kickoff on the 8th of December.
