The development team working on Machiavellic, a blockchain sandbox MMO on Cardano, has announced that the boarding phase of the soft launch will begin on February 15th.

For this boarding phase of the soft launch, the community can expect to go on a grand adventure to the planet Ozzar using the Machiavellic spaceship. You will be able to assign your crew of Officers to cryogenic cabins during space travel. It will also be possible to customize their appearance by crafting outfits. These officers are said to play an important part in “the evolving lore of Machiavellic.” 

During this boarding proccess, there will be free cabins in the cryogenic hall that you can assign your officers to, while owners of plot NFTs will be able to board officers in reserved cabins, which are said to grant certain benefits. Your purchased officers can be found on February 15th by logging in with your wallet. 

2024 Roadmap

Next to announcing this boarding phase, the developers also revealed their roadmap for this year, featuring milestones for the first two quarters. In Q1, the team is focusing on an alpha minigame through which players will get to fight in different battle formats through which various game mechanics will be tested. For Q2, crafting mechanics will be worked on to enable customization of armor and weapons, as well as unique officer builds, with market and trading mechanics to be another core component for the second quarter, with the developers looking to create a dynamic market for trading armor, weapons, and resources while forming faction-driven economies.
