Game7 DAO Announces $G7 TGE Airdrop

After unveiling $G7 tokenomics, Game7 DAO announced a TGE airdrop of its upcoming ecosystem token. Here’s how this airdrop works and how you might be able to qualify before claiming officially opens.

How Does the $G7 TGE Airdrop Work?

Titled as the “Age of Pioneers”, this TGE airdrop is designed to reward the most active early players within the ecosystem’s community with 600 million $G7 tokens. That’s 6% of the token’s total supply that eligible players will be able to claim soon.

To be eligible for the $G7 TGE airdrop, you need to have collected at least 400 Credits. Players have been able to collect Credits by engaging in a variety of different activities. These include playing web3 games in Game7’s ecosystem, leveling up your on-chain reputation, completing LootDrop campaigns, completing various in-game actions through the Game7 Portal, and achieving Playstreaks on HyperPlay, a web3-native gaming platform. All of these activities have also been applied varying boosts to give participants more Credits.

You can check your eligibility and airdrop allocation using the claim page linked in the official X thread. An exact claim date should be announced soon. Make sure to claim your tokens once claiming goes live, as any unclaimed tokens will either go to the Citizen Pool or be burned via a community vote. It seems like you will have one month from the day of TGE to claim your allocation. Claiming will be done on the G7 Network using the Game7 Portal. The G7 Network went live on mainnet earlier this February. (Edit Feb 11th: It's been announced that claiming starts on February 12th at 11 AM UTC)

If you haven’t been able to collect enough Credits for this first airdrop, then you can look forward to future airdrops instead. Here’s how the upcoming ones will work, based on what’s been revealed so far.

Will There Be More $G7 Airdrops In the Future?

Yes, although the TGE is set for February 12th at 12 PM UTC across centralized exchanges such as Bybit and KuCoin, users can look forward to more $G7 airdrops arriving in the future post-launch.

While 6% of the token’s total supply is reserved for the TGE airdrop, the total number of tokens allocated for the entire airdrop series is actually 15% of the maximum supply, or 1.5 billion tokens across 3 separate airdrops. The first airdrop is the TGE one, titled as the Age of Pioneers.

The second airdrop coming post-TGE is the Age of Civilization. This one will have a total of 500 million $G7 tokens up for grabs to the most dedicated gamers in this web3-powered ecosystem. Participants will be rewarded for playing games, creating content, helping new players, mastering the ecosystem’s skill tree system, and taking on various community roles. This means that this phase will not only reward gameplay achievements, but also skill tree participation, community leadership, and guild creation. Each skill tree is unique and designed to give community members specific roles that enable different ways of engagement within this gaming ecosystem. Participating in a skill tree path requires being a certain level in the Game7 Portal, and successfully completing a skill tree path, such as the Content Creator path, could lead to having an official role within the ecosystem, such as being an official Game7 content creator or moderator.

The Age of Commerce is the name of the third and final airdrop, which will have a reward pool of 400 million $G7 tokens. This final phase will put emphasis on cross-game interaction and economic activity. As such, this phase aims to reward communities for actively participating and contributing to web3 game economies within the G7 Network ecosystem.

More details on how these future airdrops will work are set to be revealed in the near future. You can expect the 2nd and 3rd airdrops to be given out in the months ahead. While each of them will feature certain activities to qualify, there is one requirement you’ll have to fulfil in order to participate in any of them, and that is to stake at least 10k $G7 tokens to receive a Staking Badge. The developers plan to share info and guides on staking in the future.
