The developers of Engines of Fury, an upcoming free-to-play top-down extraction shooter, have shared a sneak peek of work-in-progress alpha gameplay following their recent milestone of getting more than 60k users to sign up for the private playtest.
What’s the Sneak Peek?
The most recent sneak peek was posted on March 21st, showing an image of playtesters fighting against a spider-like boss alongside its frosty minions in a location referred to as Bloodfrost Forest.
That’s not all though – if you’re looking for more than an image, then you’ll want to check out this gameplay teaser video of the alpha, which was published earlier this month. This footage shows action-packed gameplay on the same map, Bloodfrost Forest, with the player fighting against a different boss while using a special ability to obliterate enemies with missiles from above.
If you’re interested in trying out the blockchain title for yourself, then you can try applying for the private playtest on the game’s official website for a chance at getting access. By gaining access, you will stand a chance at winning a $FURY airdrop, with the playtest said to feature a 5000 $FURY reward pool that will be distributed through random bonus drops as well as to the best testers. As you play, you will be able to loot various parts that will let you craft a limited edition NFT Alpha weapon. The $FURY token is the game’s primary currency that will be used for upgrading your character, equipment and hideout into NFTs.
