Delysium, an AI-driven blockchain MMO, has revealed plans to extend its AI offering beyond Web3 gaming.
Developer Kurosemi describes the motivation for such efforts and how the team aims to carry them out in the first quarterly Dev Note. According to the firm, their AI tech was originally designed for use in games, packaged in the likes of David, Catherine, and Lucy. After receiving many business queries, the team realized the vast potential of its AI-powered operating system, which could be applied across the Web3 landscape.
To that end, the team has released an "AI-Powered OpenWorld-Framework" – a set of tools driving the latest innovation in Delysium. The framework has 2 critical factions: 1) Delysium AI, which deals with AI applications on Web3, like Lucy and the upcoming AI-Twins platform, and 2) Decentralized Game Publishing, a platform for housing player-owned Web3 games such as Delysium: Center City.
For those who may not know, Lucy is an AI-powered avatar built by Delysium to assist users with crypto transfers and Web3 queries. The team plans to release Lucy v1.0 under the new framework, which will include a plugin system, enhanced basic functions, and improved research & safety tools that'll allow users to make well-informed investment decisions.
AI-Twins, on the other hand, is an upcoming tool that allows users to build an AI version of themselves, which will evolve based on their online preferences. The beta version is slated for release in mid-July, with improved social features and widespread adoption efforts coming in the later stages of development.
With that, Kurosemi has dropped a few updates about its decentralized game publishing model, which has gained traction among various GameFi projects, including its in-house blockchain title – Delysium: Center City. As of writing, over 200,000 players had registered for the game, with over 14,000 DMA units sold and over 5,000 DMO applications received.
* DMA is short for Delysium Multiverse Accelerator – an exclusive membership to select, vote, and support each game universe in Delysium, while DMO is short for Delysium Multiverse Operator – a creator who constantly builds unique experiences for Delysium players.
