The Closed Alpha 2 of Boss Fighters, a blockchain title incubated by Seedify, has received various major improvements that enhances the experience for both VR Boss and non-VR players.

When it comes to playing the game as a Boss in VR, the developers have announced the inclusion of native Steam VR support, making it possible to play “using your Steam VR headset without needing any additional software or plugins!”

The user interface of the game in VR has also been improved in order to provide a better user experience, coupled with the addition of a VR keyboard that helps players who want to write text do so more easily.

Aside from these welcome changes for VR players, the team has also fine-tuned the game with various balance changes in an effort to keep things fair. These include lowering weapon damage, upping the number of ammo available and introducing fall damage.

A bug that crashed the game while being a spectator has now been fixed, and so has the one that made players in FS mode spawn under the feet of the boss.

Last but not least, the team has included ammo respawn point protection in order to give everyone a chance at getting ammo. This has been done by adding in an explosion effect to the ammo respawn point “to protect it from obstruction.”

Boss Fighters was listed on Steam last month, the same month in which the first community playtest also kicked off.
