Stratagems

Stratagems is a unique, fully on-chain turn-based strategy game where each player can only make one turn every 24 hours. Taking place on a persistent 2D map, players get to place land as one of 5 player-owned factions by making turns called epochs. An epoch is divided into 2 phases: the commit phase and the reveal phase. The first phase is where you make all your decisions that you want to happen in the turn, choosing how much land you’d like to place while collaborating with other players to make sure you don’t place land in the same spot. After this phase is over, which lasts 23 hours, then comes the 1 hour reveal phase where all player moves are auto-revealed before the next epoch can begin.

Placing land requires staking a small amount of ETH, though you can also use Test Tokens if you’re playing in the free-to-play mode. If players end up staking on the same land spot, a 6th non-player owned faction will emerge, taking the staked ETH or Test Tokens from players, which can be reclaimed by attacking the faction. Player factions can also fight each other if they are on the same land next to one another, while staked land tiles that started as houses and aren’t attacked get upgraded after each epoch with a new visual look and more health.

Stratagems is now live alpha on Base as a browser-based title, with the playtest set to end on May 21st.

Echoes of Empire

Echoes of Empire is a 4X strategy game set in a sci-fi world where factions fight for conquest in a faraway galaxy.
