Blockchain game developer Nimblebites has announced that web3 gaming platform Super-B is getting a Pre-Registration Event for their Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2025 Playtest, starting this Thursday, September 18, from 00:00 UTC.

What Are the Features of the KBW 2025 Playtest Pre-Registration Event?

The Pre-Registration Event runs from September 18 to September 23, 00:00 UTC, and gives the blockchain gaming community early access to the latest playtest for Super-B.

During this event, the following features can be accessed:

  • Character Creation & Customization
  • Item System
  • Guest Login
  • Gacha
  • Daily Check-in Rewards

If you want create your avatar and customize it to your liking before the actual playtest begins, then this early phase lets you do not only that, but also gives you access to the game’s item system, through which you can buy, synthesize, and improve a variety of items. You can also start collecting random items through the Gacha system.

For those who’d just like to take a peek, the guest login feature will be included as well to let you access the game straight away, without needing to fully register. If you do decide to properly create an account, you will be able to start earning daily check-in rewards, with up to 8 rewards said to be up for grabs just for logging in every day.

So, if you’d like to start earning rewards early while trying out these game features before the playtest properly goes live for a potential advantage, then you should come back to the game’s social channels tomorrow, September 18, to pre-register and download the web3 title. The official Medium post linked in the below X announcement does not state what kind of rewards you can earn, nor does it mention if your progress is reset. Back in the Closed Beta Test 2, which ran from late July to early August, players were given a deadline for the game data reset, but also a deadline for claiming rewards to their wallet, as it was possible to earn USDC and a token airdrop. It’s possible that this playtest will too feature soulbound airdrop points to collect to earn your allocation of the upcoming $BITE token, but details on that have not yet been officially announced.

What Can You Do After the Pre-Registration Event?

After this event is over, the playtest should fully kick off and give players the chance to enjoy actual gameplay, which is set to consist of core battle and adventure systems that “will be revealed in the official launch.” In the previous closed beta test, gameplay involved 7 competitive multiplayer game modes, among which were classics such as Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. It looks like we might be getting something different to try out this time around.

Next to action-packed gameplay across colorful 3D environments, players will also be able to gain access to the My Home feature, where it will be possible to build, buy, and enter personal spaces.

More details on both gameplay and My Home are planned to be revealed next week, during this year’s KBW, which takes place in Seoul from September 22 to September 28. Developer Nimblebites will be present on September 23 and September 24, so if you’d like to meet the team, you can do so at the KBW Impact Main Conference Booth, and at Sui's “Ready. Sui. Play!” event, according to a Discord announcement.

What Is Super-B?

Super-B is an in-development, free to play social web3 gaming platform in which players get to create their own customizable 3D metaverse spaces and earn token rewards by competing in an array of fun action-packed game modes while engaging in various social activities.

When it comes to web3 features in particular, players are able to earn non-tradable closed-loop currency called $SuperBit and use it to make predictions, in-game purchases, and enter AI tournaments. In this dual token, play to earn economy, players will be able to exchange $SuperBIt over to the upcoming tradable ecosystem token $BITE at a dynamic exchange rate. $BITE is planned to have a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens and will come with use cases that include staking, governance participation, and buying NFTs such as AI agents. The supply is designed with a deflationary model in mind, which is set to consist of a number of staking and burn mechanisms, among which there might be burning of fees accrued from swaps between $SuperBit and $BITE.

So far, the developers have been hosting a number of community playtests and closed beta test sessions, with the latter being the bigger events in which players could play to earn USDT or USDC, alongside soulbound tokens called NSB. By collecting NSB, which has a maximum supply of 30 million until TGE, players are essentially playing to earn airdrop points that will convert to the $BITE utility token at a certain conversion rate. To date, players have been able to earn these rewards through limited time competitive leaderboards and daily check-in events during playtests.

That being said, the KBW 2025 Playtest is likely set to feature more of the same goodies to play and earn for free, but we’ll officially know if that is the case at some point next week. As for the launch of the $BITE token, the roadmap in the official documentation reveals that the TGE is planned to take place at some point in Q4 2025, with a more specific date not included at the time of writing.

As for the game itself, aside from playtests, Super-B is set to be playable during Steam Next Fest in Q4 2025, while the official launch is also scheduled for the same quarter. The full release should go live on Windows PCs on the Epic Games Store as a free to play MMO with more than 12 game modes to enjoy and play to earn in, with more game modes set to be regularly added over time.
