From now until August 21 at 4 PM UTC, Sleepagotchi Lite players can compete in the Find Reina event for a share of a massive 1,000,000 $PIXEL prize pool, worth about $35,000 USD. This is the biggest play to earn campaign Sleepagotchi has ever run. It is also only available on Sleepagotchi Lite, the Telegram-based version of the game, not on the iOS or Android app.

How the Find Reina Event Works

The goal is simple. Players need to collect as many Reina cards as possible from in-game gacha packs. These packs can be earned for free through regular play or purchased in the in-game shop.

Only Reina cards will count toward your event points. The rarer the card, the more points it gives:

  • Rare Reina = 10 points
  • Epic Reina = 100 points
  • Legendary Reina = 1,000 points

There is no sign-up process for the event. If you are already playing Sleepagotchi Lite, you are automatically part of the leaderboard. Scores refresh every 15 minutes. You can check your current rank any time at gocollect.sleepagotchi.com.

When the event ends, the top 1,000 players will share the 1,000,000 $PIXEL prize pool. If you make the cut, you will need to submit a Ronin-compatible self-custodial wallet, through the SG_address_bot on Telegram to claim your reward.

A Competitive Two Weeks

With a prize pool this large, competition will be intense. Players who want a high position will need to focus on getting Epic and Legendary Reinas. Rare cards are easier to find, but they give fewer points, so going for high-value cards will be key for those aiming for the top ranks.

The partnership brought $PIXEL token utility directly into Sleepagotchi Lite, letting players stake tokens, unlock special gacha packs, and earn cross-game rewards.

Pixels is a web3 farming sim with more than 10 million registered users. It teamed up with Sleepagotchi to give Lite players new ways to use and earn $PIXEL tokens. This integration allows token holders to bring real value into a casual, wellness-focused game.

Luke Barwikowski, founder of Pixels, called the partnership a way to expand "staking into new distribution channels" and to reach players on platforms they already use every day. Anton Kraminkin, founder of Sleepagotchi, said the partnership helps bring proven reward systems into Sleepagotchi's "sleep-to-earn" gameplay loop.

The integration went live on June 8. It is part of Pixels' larger multi-game staking program, which also includes titles like Core Pixels, Forgotten Runiverse, and Pixel Dungeons. Players can stake $PIXEL through the Pixels staking site and spend it in Sleepagotchi's web store on items, gacha packs, and exclusive bundles. There is also a 20% discount on purchases made with $PIXEL, which gives even more incentive for token holders to join in.

What Is Sleepagotchi Lite?

Sleepagotchi Lite is a mini-game that runs on Telegram, LINE, and the web. It acts as a lightweight preview of the full Sleepagotchi app, which will release later in 2025 for iOS and Android.

Lite is different from the main app because it does not require any sleep tracking. Instead, it focuses on quick, card-based play. Players collect hero cards, send them on missions, join clans, and earn points. 

Gacha packs are a big part of Lite. Opening these packs gives heroes with different abilities. These heroes can be sent on missions to gather resources, which can then be used to strengthen your team. The $PIXEL integration adds more value to these activities by letting players stake, spend, and earn the token directly inside the game.

While the Find Reina event runs on Lite, the main Sleepagotchi app is in the middle of its own big event, the Big App Preview. This mobile preview launched on July 29 and will last for three weeks. It is available on both iOS and Android.

The main app uses vSLEEP tokens as its core in-game currency. Players earn vSLEEP each morning by tracking their sleep and sticking to their set bed and wake times. A nightly score from 40 to 100 is given based on performance. For example, a score of 86 means earning 86 vSLEEP the next day.

These tokens can be spent on summoning heroes, battling nightmares, and customizing Dino's room; Dino being the in-game companion who joins players on their adventures.

The Big App Preview is free to download and play. You do not need a crypto wallet to take part, though connecting one will lock rewards to that address during the preview. All vSLEEP earned during this event will count toward an airdrop linked to the game's Token Generation Event (TGE) later this year.

Mixing Wellness and Play to Earn

Sleepagotchi's design combines casual RPG mechanics with wellness tracking. The Lite version focuses on social play and resource collection, while the mobile app connects directly to your sleep schedule to reward healthy habits.
