Sleepagotchi has officially launched its Big App Preview, now live on both iOS and Android. This open beta event kicked off on July 29 and runs for 3 weeks only. Players around the world can now jump in, download the full app, and start turning their nightly rest into in-game rewards. 

With a mix of sleep tracking and idle RPG mechanics, Sleepagotchi lets users earn vSLEEP every morning just by sticking to a regular bedtime. Note that all vSLEEP collected during this preview will count toward an upcoming airdrop, part of the project's token launch event (TGE). This marks the first time the game is available to the public outside of previous closed beta phases.

20,000 Players Join on Day One of Open Beta

In just 24 hours, Sleepagotchi's open beta drew over 20,000 daily active users. Without push notifications, the app saw a 62.8% retention rate on Day 1. That's a strong signal of player engagement, especially for a health-based game. The average first session time was nearly one hour, with players from 151 countries joining in. 

Track Your Sleep to Earn Daily Rewards

The main loop of Sleepagotchi centers around sleep tracking. Each night, the app calculates a score based on how well you follow your set bedtime and wake-up targets. The closer you stick to your ideal sleep schedule, the higher your score. This score ranges from 40 to 100 and is converted 1:1 into vSLEEP the next morning. If your score is 86, you receive 86 vSLEEP.

You can use this currency to summon heroes, take part in battles, and unlock items to decorate Dino's room. Sleepagotchi supports most major sleep trackers and syncs with Apple Health and Health Connect. It also allows manual sleep logging, though all entries are monitored to prevent abuse.

Join Dino and Explore Dream Worlds

Each player partners with Dino, a friendly dinosaur character who lives in a virtual room. The room can be customized using items you unlock through daily activity and gacha rewards. You also collect heroes, each with their own abilities, which can be sent into Story Mode (Path) or Idle Mode (Hunt).

Path Mode features a story-driven journey where you and Dino battle nightmares. Hunt Mode generates idle rewards automatically over time. The more Hunt stages you complete, the higher your passive income rate becomes. Idle rewards can be claimed once every 24 hours and stack throughout the day.

Everything runs through the app itself. You can play for a minute a day or spend more time leveling up and building your hero team. How to Maximize vSLEEP Earnings

There are a few ways to maximize your vSLEEP earnings during the preview. Logging in every day builds a streak, which adds bonus vSLEEP. Missing a day resets the streak, so showing up daily is key. Battle victories will also give you extra vSLEEP, whether you're playing Path Mode or running idle in Hunt Mode.

Inviting friends is another way to earn points. The in-app referral system tracks who joins using your invite link and gives you vSLEEP based on how many verified players you bring in. Big App Preview Features and Rules

This preview period gives full access to the latest version of Sleepagotchi. That includes everything from story quests and battle modes to hero summons, room customization, and token earning systems. All vSLEEP collected during this time will count toward the game's airdrop. There is no need to link a crypto wallet to play, but those who do connect a wallet will be locked into that address for the preview. Only one wallet can be linked per account. To ensure fair rewards, the game audits sleep data and bans abuse. Manual sleep entries are allowed but will be reviewed afterward, and cheating (such as fake scores or bot referrals) may lead to a full vSLEEP reset.

How Sleepagotchi Came About

The latest mobile version follows earlier test phases on Telegram. In May, Sleepagotchi launched Stage 2 of its Closed Beta, starting with Sleepagotchi Lite on Telegram. Later, the team partnered with Sony's Soneium blockchain to bring the game to the LINE Mini App platform, opening it up to over 200 million users in Japan and Southeast Asia.

In early June, Sleepagotchi teamed up with Pixels to introduce $PIXEL staking into its ecosystem. Telegram players could stake tokens, unlock gacha packs, and earn cross-game rewards. These earlier launches set the foundation for the Big App Preview, which brings everything together into one mobile-first version.
