After getting acquired by Triumph Games, the developers of fantasy MMORPG Legends of Elumia have revealed their new 2025 roadmap, teasing that the start of the game’s new free to play model is happening soon.

What Does Legends of Elumia’s New 2025 Roadmap Reveal?

The new roadmap covers the remaining 3 quarters of 2025, and even gives us a glimpse of 2026 as well. Aside from the quarterly timeframes, no specific launch dates for any of the given milestones are available at the time of writing.

For Q2 2025, the team is focused on forming the foundation for their new chapter under new management by expanding both gameplay and accessibility to make it easy and engaging for anyone to jump into the Ronin-powered title on PC and mobile devices.

To mark this new era, the team will be hosting a big in-game event called RAGNAROK during Q2. This event is said to be the end of the game’s current world and the start of a new reborn fantasy Elumia, paving the way for new additions to come. This is then set to be followed by the opening of pre-registration for the upcoming free to play model that will make it easier than ever before to start playing this third-person title. That will also happen in the same quarter, and though not specifically stated, pre-registration is usually rewarded with some in-game rewards for a neat head start.

Also planned for Q2 is the game’s Android mobile launch on the Google Play Store and the expansion of two core gameplay systems: crafting and gathering. This means that players will soon be able to collect various resources and use them to craft a wide range of different items, leading to more in-depth game economy and progression systems. Wrapping up this quarter is the introduction of Crown Pass Ascension, which is a new reward system that will feature seasonal content to progress through.

In Q3 2025, the developers will look to enhance combat, skills, and competitive gameplay. This means that you can look forward to using a new skills system that will enable you to unlock a variety of character abilities to help you set up the combat playstyle that you want. Further adding to customization are Talents, which will bring further depth to tactically adjusting your hero and playstyle to fit what you need. You will be able to utilize all these new systems to your advantage in competitive PvP modes that look set to include Duels and esports competitions.

As for Q4 2025, you can expect a PvP revamp alongside improvements to mobility and the game economy for an even better blockchain gaming experience. The PvP upgrade will feature balancing changes, new content, and enhanced matchmaking for more engaging competitive battles. Gameplay flow is set to be improved with the addition of Mounts, allowing you to travel faster than before and thus have more time to explore the game’s world. As for the game economy, a player-to-player trading system is planned to be introduced alongside improvements to the marketplace, all of which could help in creating a dynamic player-driven economy.

Legends of Elumia 2026 Plans

In 2026, the goal is to make Legends of Elumia a living world that is dynamically shaped by the players. To do this, the aim is to expand into a seamless open world that is full of “discovery, danger, and opportunity.” On top of that, the team would also like to introduce player housing, allowing you to set up your very own customizable home that you can personalize and decorate to your liking, opening the doors for “deeper social and creative systems.”

“This roadmap is just the surface of what we’re building. Our vision is a vibrant, ever-evolving MMORPG that empowers players through gameplay, ownership, and community.”

That’s all that’s been teased so far for the next year. Here’s hoping 2025 goes according to plan and we get a genuinely fun F2P MMORPG experience to enjoy on PC and on the go while being able to truly play and own various assets. Before the roadmap was revealed and the acquisition took place, Legends of Elumia launched the Ronin Game Pass with a $100k laddered raffle.
