Illuvium has introduced an exclusive reward system namely the "Zero Alpha Reward: Fuel Crates.” This reward system was introduced to honor its dedicated landowners who have invested in land Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). It was also created to reward those who have actively participated in the game. Illuvium was the world’s first Interoperable Blockchain Game (IBG).

The Tier-Adjusted Fuel Crates would be awarded based on the tier of the land plot owned by a player. These crates provides players with rewards matching their level of engagement and investment. The Snapshot for the initial Airdrop was taken on the 15th of February, 2024. Players were awarded one Tier Adjusted Fuel Crate for every plot of land found in each wallet during the Snapshot.

The Illuvium’s reward system has been personalized to match the tier of each player’s plot of land. Each crate corresponds to a specific tier thereby ensuring each player receives an award that aligns with their commitment to the game. The team also put up an eligibility criteria for the reward system. The criteria emphasized the presence of a plot of land in each player’s wallet at the time of the Snapshot. Therefore, a player is awarded a Tier-Adjusted Fuel Crate per plot of land.
