Illuvium, a leading blockchain-based gaming platform, has unveiled its highly anticipated Arena Beta 3 v0.3.4 update. This includes a range of features and adjustments to elevate the gaming experience within the Illuvium universe. The latest update is marked by the introduction of an Advanced Filtering System. It aims to provide an enhanced navigation capabilities and a more seamless Illuvial selection process.

Advanced Filtering System and Illuvial Lineage Reworks

A major feature is the Advanced Filtering System, reintroducing Affinity and Class filters. This addition streamlines the Illuvial selection process. It also offers players a more efficient way to search and choose their preferred characters. The update reflects Illuvium's commitment to user comfort and efficient gameplay.

Arena Beta 3 v0.3.4 brings about significant reworks to various Illuvial lineages, with a focus on balancing and enhancing gameplay. Changes include a reduction in the energy cost of the Beetle line. This is accompanied by the introduction of a new effect – "Gain Damage% Reduction on Omega." Additionally, adjustments to the Dodo line's attack range align it more closely with its melee unit nature. The Turtle line, known for its Aegis Illuvials, sees improved resistances to both physical and energy damage. The Thylacine line undergoes a reconfiguration in the Omega damage formula. This is to ensure a more balanced scale across all components.

Other Improvements

In the realm of synergies, Illuvium introduces strategic changes. Synergies formed with Empath will now apply to the activating Illuvial itself, excluding Aegis. This adjustment expands players' strategic options, allowing synergies to have a direct impact on the Illuvial in play.

The Augment Limitation has been introduced to add an extra layer of planning and decision-making to the gaming experience. Players can now add only one augment per line to their team via the Team Builder.

The Auction Phase undergoes significant improvements, featuring the introduction of a Selection Algorithm. This algorithm ensures that Legendary Augments are presented in a specific order. Tailored Synergy Augments and a Variety of Selections are also introduced to add more diversity to the available options and prevent redundancy.
