Vietnam-based game developer Skrice Studios are back at it again after a 5-month hiatus. This time, they've dropped Heroes of Mavia's official alpha gameplay footage, showing what's to come in the AAA blockchain title.
In the three-and-half-minute clip below, you can take a closer look at Mavia's 3D buildings, characters, UI designs, and much more. The team also gave a quick demo on base building, before dropping some in-game battle footage.
Needless to say, fans are more than thrilled at the long-awaited reveal, with many looking forward to the game's official launch in Q4 2022. Though the blockchain title is still in Alpha testing, Skrice said it wouldn't take too long before Mavia moves into Beta. NFT land owners will be the first to access the beta game once it goes live.
About Heroes of Mavia
Heroes of Mavia is a play-to-earn MMO strategy game created by Skrice Studios. Described as a AAA blockchain base builder game, players can partake in various strategic gameplay while earning RUBY, the primary reward token in Mavia.
To get started on Heroes of Mavia, you must own or control a base in the game. This can be done by buying, renting, or leasing an NFT plot through the Mavia marketplace.
Once done, you can start building your base and fortify it with traps, walls, turrets, etc., to prevent other players from raiding you for your hard-earned resources such as Gold, Oil, and RUBY. Though players often earn RUBY from successful raids, those who defended their bases may earn RUBY as well.
RUBY can be used to upgrade HQ, as well as Hero and Statue NFTs to boost players' attacks and defenses in the game. On top of that, the game will also have its own governance token, MAVIA, set to launch by the end of 2022.
