OVERTAKE’s web3 real-time strategy game Somnis: Rumble Rush has received a major new update, introducing increased battle pass rewards and more additions for an even better blockchain gaming experience.
What’s New in Somnis: Rumble Rush’s Major Update?
Released on May 15, the new major update for Somnis: Rumble Rush features new content, better battle pass rewards, minor bug fixes, and balancing tweaks to improve PvP and PvE gameplay while further engaging players to continue to play and earn in this Immutable-powered title.
According to the patch notes, there are now 5 new campaign chapters for players to progress through: chapters 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. These chapters are now unlocked, so if you’ve been waiting for some more PvE fun in the campaign, it’s now time to jump back in and dominate these challenging new levels. It won’t be a walk in the park, as the team has stated that smarter AIs will appear in these new chapters, ready to put your strategic skills to the test. Additionally, the maximum level of your NFTs has now been extended to 60, giving you more room to further strengthen your assets.
From May 20, battle pass rewards have undergone a massive increase. Specifically, the Premium Pass now has 550% more Gold rewards, while the Special Pass now comes with 600% more Gold rewards to earn. Gold is the main in-game currency used to craft items, level up cards, and grow your Village. It can be earned in various ways, including through daily check-ins, missions, and the battle pass, including the Free Pass. Premium and Special Passes are available as in-app purchases in your local currency and unlock various benefits that include exclusive quests, increased stamina auto-recharge cap, and more.
When it comes to balancing adjustments, we got a couple of nerfs and buffs for various cards. For nerfs, 4 cards have been affected: Typhon’s Health has been decreased by 20%, Lightning’s Mana Cost has been increased to 30, while Tower Basic DMG for Plaguelands has been decreased by 1, and Lullaby’s SS Skill has been nerfed so that it now returns 25 Mana instead of 40. Lock Varanus, Nocens, B. Dos, Vortex, and Lullaby have all been buffed. A whopping 60% Health increase has been given to Lock Varanus, while Vortex’s Unit DMG is up by 30% and Lullaby’s Mana Cost is lowered to 55. B. Dos’ DeBuff Attack-delay has been increased to 50%, while the same percentage increase has been given for Nocens’ Buff Attack-delay as well, with the Buff Duration for Nocens increased to 10 seconds and the Effect Range upped to 3m.

What Is Somnis: Rumble Rush?
Somnis: Rumble Rush is a free to play real-time strategy game in which players build decks of upgradable cards to deploy in 3D lane-based 1v1 battles, similar to mobile hits such as Clash Royale. Tactically deploy units and spells across battlefields consisting of 3 to 5 lanes, with structures called Dream Cores placed at the end of each lane. Destroy a certain number of Dream Cores to win the match.
This mobile game is available as a free to play title on Android and iOS devices via the Play Store and App Store respectively, so whether you’re a new or returning player, now’s the time to jump back in and enjoy the major update across PvP and PvE modes. After you’ve downloaded the strategic title, you will need to sign in using your Immutable Passport, which you can easily set up via an email address or social sign in option such as Google or Apple.
Last month, Somnis: Rumble Rush launched the Double Leaderboard Challenge with a $10k total prize pool.
