Web3 strategy game Somnis: Rumble Rush has kicked off the Double Leaderboard Challenge, giving players 2 April events to compete in for a total prize pool of $10k USDC equally distributed across two new leaderboards.
The Double Leaderboard Challenge is a set of 2 leaderboard events for Somnis: Rumble Rush players to compete in for a chance at earning USDC rewards.
With two competitive leaderboards to fight spots for, this April gives players 2 opportunities to play to earn rewards from April 1st to April 30th, 14:30 UTC-0.
The leaderboards in question are called the Somnis Leaderboard and the Accumulated Flag Leaderboard. Each ladder features $5k USDC up for grabs, for a combined total of $10k USDC. Both leaderboards also require you to rank in the top 100 by the end of the event in order to qualify for this month’s rewards.
The Somnis Leaderboard is an in-game PvP event that puts your tactical skills to the test while awarding the top 100 PvP players with a share of the $5k USDC prize pool. The Accumulated Flag Leaderboard is April’s seasonal event where the top 100 players to have collected the highest number of flags from winning league matches can earn a piece of the event’s $5k USDC reward pool. Losing league matches deducts flags however, requiring you to consistently outsmart your opponents and achieve plenty of wins. Only matches starting from the Elite League allow you to earn flags. Both leaderboards seem to use the same reward distribution. According to details in Overtake’s official Discord server, this is how much the top 100 spots award players with:
If any player is caught as a Sybil account, they’ll be disqualified from all USDC rewards and even any upcoming $TAKE token airdrops.
If you’d like to put your strategic skills to test in this mobile game and potentially be rewarded for doing so, then here’s how you can join in for free.
To participate in the Double Leaderboard Challenge, you have to compete against other players in PvP gameplay while collecting flags by playing and winning league matches in Somnis: Rumble Rush. You can play this PvP and PvE mobile strategy game for free on Android and iOS by downloading it through the Play Store or App Store respectively.
In terms of gameplay, it’s similar to Clash Royale, as players go on 1v1 lane-based battles featuring 3 to 5 lanes in which you can deploy various upgradable cards from your customizable deck as spells and units to march onwards to the opponent, with the goal of destroying a certain number of Dream Cores that are located at the end of each lane. Before you can play though, the game will require you to set up an Immutable account with Immutable Passport, which can be done via Google, Apple, and email address.
