The world's first 3D location-based service (LBS) blockchain game, L3E7, has just launched its Open Beta Season 0. The test phase began on July 30 and is now available on Android, Windows, and Mac. The game is accessible to all, with no barriers to entry. Players can now explore a full-scale cyberpunk replica of Earth and experience a next-gen fusion of real-world exploration and web3 gameplay.

L3E7 Open Beta Season 0: What You Need to Know

The Open Beta, now in Season 0, will run for about one month. It's designed to gather feedback from players, test core systems, and optimize gameplay. The team has confirmed that this phase focuses on performance testing, retention tracking, and bug fixing ahead of a full-scale launch.

During Season 0, players can log in, explore, and make purchases, but Stardust production, the game's core in-game currency, will remain paused. This decision is intended to maintain balance and allow the team to adjust mechanics before the game officially enters its first persistent season.

Platform Access and Game Download

To join the Open Beta, players can download L3E7 using the following methods:

On PC (Windows or Mac), the game is available through HyperPlay. Mac devices must have an M1 chip or newer, and Rosetta must be installed.

On Android, the game can be downloaded via the official link provided on l3e7.io/game-test.

The iOS version is still under review and is not yet live on the App Store.

Players must link a wallet to their game account in order to make purchases or claim rewards. Only one wallet address can be linked per game account, and it cannot be changed later.

Purchase Bonuses and Refund Policy

All in-game purchases made during Season 0 are non-refundable. But the team has promised a 120% credit bonus in Season 1 for every dollar spent during this phase. This also includes purchases made during the January 2025 test. These credits will be usable once persistent gameplay begins.

Players can use MNT or ETH for purchases, with support for Mantle and Arbitrum networks.

System Requirements for PC Players

L3E7 requires moderate hardware to run smoothly. The minimum specs include an Intel Core i3 8300, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX 1660 Super graphics card. For the recommended experience, players should have at least an Intel Core i5 8500, 16GB of RAM, and an RTX 2070 GPU. The game supports 64-bit Windows 10/11 and Macs with M1 or later chips.

What Is L3E7?

L3E7 is the first game to clone the Earth into a full 3D cyberpunk-style metaverse using real map data and location systems. It merges physical and digital spaces to create a world that players can explore, control, and influence.

The game uses real cities and landmarks, which players can capture and defend. Every building on the map becomes a strategic battleground, transforming global landmarks into part of the game world.

Core Gameplay: How L3E7 Works

At the center of L3E7 is the City Retake Operation mode. Players use a team of characters called Sympathizers to attack and defend buildings. Each Sympathizer has unique stats and skills. Players level up their characters using EXP items, enhance their power by collecting elemental cores and chips, and unlock passive bonuses through duplicate character fragments.

Each building has a defense rating. Players earn an Efficiency score by dealing damage and completing objectives. These scores influence their placement on two global leaderboards, the Efficiency Leaderboard and the Honor Coin Leaderboard.

More efficient players gain better rewards. Leaderboard performance can also unlock city-wide bonuses and cosmetic status titles.

Character and Account Progression

L3E7 players grow stronger over time by raising their Guardian Level, which sets the cap on Sympathizer levels. To earn EXP and raise this level, players complete bounty hunts, daily missions, challenges, mystery events, and building captures.

At higher Guardian Levels, players unlock special items like summon tickets and diamond currency through the in-game Medals system.

Full Earth Simulation and Exploration

Players explore the planet L3E7, a mirror version of Earth rendered in stylized 3D. It uses real-world mapping data to place actual streets, buildings, and city layouts into a virtual metaverse. This design offers endless exploration, not just by walking, but also by interacting with cyberpunk cityscapes that blur the line between simulation and reality.

Core NFTs in L3E7

The game has two official NFT collections that carry both gameplay and real-world perks.

L3E7 Worlds

This collection includes just 600 NFTs. They serve as early access passes and unlock perks like reward boosts, priority testing invites, event access, and revenue-sharing in the future.

L3E7 Guardians

These are the avatar NFTs that players use in the game. They give holders access to special features, gameplay bonuses, and Stardust rewards when activated.

Both NFT types represent ownership and can be traded, upgraded, or staked. Holders are treated like shareholders in the platform, with voting rights and eligibility for long-term profit sharing.

In-Game Currency and Tokens

L3E7 has a three-token economy: $L3E7, Stardust, and Nexalium.

$L3E7 is the game's core token. It powers purchases, trades, and premium content access. Players will be able to earn it through gameplay and events in later seasons.

Stardust is the in-game currency used to power actions and upgrades. Unlocked Stardust can also be exchanged for $L3E7. While Stardust is paused in Season 0, it will become active in Season 1. Holding a Guardian NFT unlocks Stardust access.

Nexalium is the reward token for event participation through Discord. Players can exchange it for whitelist spots and access to future content drops.

Why Season 0 Matters

This Open Beta is more than just a technical test. According to the team, it's the start of a major chapter for the project. The game is still being refined, but the team sees Season 0 as a chance to test the game at scale, collect community input, and prepare for a stable, long-term future.

The developers also confirmed that all Season 0 data will be wiped when it ends. Season 1 will launch with no more resets, bringing persistent progression, active balancing, and content updates based on lessons learned.

Join and Share Feedback

Players are invited to take part in the ongoing Open Beta and share their feedback through the official Google form.
