Closed Beta Test II for 3D location-based cyberpunk metaverse L3E7 is now live with a play to earn prize pool of 50k $MNT tokens alongside potential airdrop rewards.

How to Play to Earn $MNT and Airdrop in L3E7 Closed Beta Test II

In L3E7 Closed Beta Test II, there are number of different ways in which anyone can play to earn a total of 50k $MNT tokens and a potential airdrop allocation of the upcoming $L3E7 token.

When it comes to gameplay rewards, those are primarily centered around ranking at the top of 3 different leaderboards with their own varying reward pools: Damage Rankings, Guild Battle Rankings, and Landmark Rankings.

The Damage Rankings leaderboard is designed to reward the top 500 players who manage to deal the highest amount of damage in a single battle. This ladder alone features a total of 40k $MNT tokens that are set to be distributed in the following manner:

  • Rank 1: 800 $MNT
  • Rank 2: 600 $MNT
  • Rank 3: 450 $MNT
  • Ranks 4–10: 350 $MNT each
  • Ranks 11–30: 240 $MNT each
  • Ranks 31–60: 160 $MNT each
  • Ranks 61–100: 90 $MNT each
  • Ranks 101–200: 75 $MNT each
  • Ranks 201–500: 50 $MNT each

If you’re playing as part of a clan, then you can look forward to climbing to the top of Guild Battle Rankings, where the top 3 guilds will win a share of 6000 $MNT, with the rewards said to be equally distributed to up to 30 players per guild. The highest ranked guild will get 3000 $MNT tokens or 100 $MNT per player. For the runner-up group, they’ll receive 2100 $MNT tokens or 70 $MNT per player, while the 3rd best guild snags 900 $MNT, or 30 $MNT for each of the best guild members.

This playtest officially introduces NYC to the 3D game. It features 4 different landmarks to battle in: Dorchester Towers (-73.982731, 40.776067), 101 West End Avenue (-73.988378, 40.775191), The Glenham (-73.969194, 40.797394), and News Corp. Building (-73.982615, 40.758713). 

If you end up battling in these landmarks, then you have a chance of winning tokens from the Landmark Rankings category. For this leaderboard, which in total has 4000 $MNT up for grabs, the top 5 damage dealers per landmark will be rewarded with the following amount:

  • Rank 1: 300 $MNT
  • Rank 2: 250 $MNT
  • Rank 3: 200 $MNT
  • Rank 4: 150 $MNT
  • Rank 5: 100 $MNT

Next to earning the core token of the Mantle Network, players also have an opportunity to play to airdrop $L3E7 by collecting Stardust. You can earn Stardust by simply playing the game during this beta test, with 3% of $L3E7 tokens allocated to unlocked Stardust across all playtests. You can increase your Stardust rewards by staking game-related NFTs. Doing so gives you a bonus that is multiplied with your in-game earnings, so if you collect 1000 Stardust and your NFT gives you a 10% bonus, you will then end up getting an extra 100 Stardust.

Staking bonuses vary based on the NFT in question. Guardians NFTs provide a 10% Stardust bonus, while Star Alliance Vanguards offer 80%. Worlds NFTs give out a 100% bonus, and Supreme Councils a whopping 200%.

How to Participate in L3E7 Closed Beta Test II

Despite the naming, anyone can participate in Closed Beta Test II for free by downloading L3E7 on Windows or Mac through HyperPlay, or by getting the game on an Android device via the Google Play Store. The mobile version however seems to only be available for users in the United States, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The official Medium announcement also mentions that only Macs with an M1 chip or newer are supported, and that you’ll need Rosetta installed to properly play.

Players can make in-game purchases using $MNT and ETH on Mantle and Arbitrum networks, with all purchases made during this playtest set to be “fully refunded to your original wallet address.”

This beta test started on May 15th at 9 PM UTC+8, and will end on May 22nd at 9 PM UTC+8. The start of this playtest comes almost 2 months after the L3E7 Mobile Vanguard Test,  which was available only for players with an access code. Access Codes were also needed for the first Closed Beta Test, so this seems to be the first opportunity in which the developers have opened the game’s doors to a wider blockchain gaming audience, giving everyone an opportunity to play to earn and airdrop tokens for free.
