Midnight Society, the AAA game studio from Dr. Disrespect, has announced that the Snapshot VI for their vertical extraction shooter Deadrop will be revealed next month on July 11th at 3 PM PT.

The reveal will be livestreamed at the aforementioned time on YouTube, with no details, sneak peeks or similar currently available on what we could expect to see as of writing.

The previous iteration, Snapshot V, was initially displayed back in March this year, giving pre-alpha players various new features to enjoy. For that early dev build, players had the chance to fight on a new map called Sector 3: Cold Storage, the first out of 7 Sectors the full game is set to feature. Coupled with a new location were the additions of new weapon skins, improved attachments, and the introduction of the smoke grenade. The main menu was also improved in an audial sense, thanks to the inclusion of the official theme song composed by Edouard Brenneisen, who is known for working as the lead composer of League of Legends.

It’ll be interesting to see what next the developers have in store for this in-development blockchain FPS, and it won’t be long until we find out.
