The developers of CyberVerse have officially introduced its own Multiplayer Games Hub, through which players can compete in various mini-games for free on Ronin and Ergo.
What Is CyberVerse?
CyberVerse is a free to play cyberpunk-themed MMORPG that combines exploration, resource gathering, progression systems, and play to earn features. The game operates across Ergo, Cardano, and Ronin networks, offering an open-world experience set in the expanding city of Cyberia along with surrounding regions. In CyberVerse, players begin with a free starter character, or they can play as a CyberCitizen NFT to access additional reward paths, character bonuses, and long-term progression incentives.
The core gameplay loop centers on skill training, collecting resources, crafting items, completing tasks, and taking part in a broader player-driven economy. The game also includes a variety of activities such as combat encounters, material farming, city-based missions, and a growing selection of mini-games placed throughout Cyberia. Items, tools, and materials earned through gameplay feed into several crafting and refining systems that supply the in-game market with new goods. The world is designed to expand over time through new zones, systems, and seasonal features that build toward a larger dystopian setting.
The introduction of the Multiplayer Games Hub represents one of the most recent steps in CyberVerse’s ongoing plan to expand available activities inside the browser-based MMO.
What Is the CyberVerse Multiplayer Games Hub?
The CyberVerse Multiplayer Games Hub is a dedicated section inside the game that gathers several fast-paced mini games in a single location accessible right from logging in. Previously, these activities were spread throughout Cyberia, but the new hub centralizes them to give players a single entry point for competitive and casual game modes. The hub supports both solo play and multiplayer sessions and is designed to provide quick access to short-form challenges that offer points, experience, and ranking opportunities.
Players can enter the hub to launch 4 available games: Racer, Wolf and Sheep, Archer, and Rocket Rush. All 4 games are skill-based and can be played at any time for free without any entry requirements.
The official announcement also included a message of appreciation to players who minted CyberVerse Apartment NFTs. These apartments serve as private spaces that support crafting, personalization, and in some cases mining rigs that require electricity payments at different intervals. The team describes the Multiplayer Games Hub as an update dedicated to Apartment holders, since their support contributed to the continued development of the world and its systems. The pre-sale mint is on day 4 at the time of writing, with more of the supply still remaining.
The hub is available to all players and operates on both the Ronin network and the Ergo network.
Which Games Are Included in CyberVerse’s Multiplayer Games Hub?
The launch of the Multiplayer Games Hub in CyberVerse brings with it 4 different, skill-based, free to play games: Racer, Wolf and Sheep, Rocket Rush, and Archer.
Racer
Racer is a 2D retro racing game that has players control a vehicle through a procedurally-generated track filled with turns, coins, and hazards. The objective is to reach the finish line within the 3-minute time limit while collecting as many coins as possible. Oil puddles on the track slow the vehicle and create additional difficulty during tighter turns.
The game supports solo play against AI drivers or multiplayer sessions with up to 20 participants. Vehicle choice influences gameplay, since each CyberCar model comes with different handling, speed, and acceleration values. Races consume Fuel rather than character stamina, with each car containing 5 fuel units that reset each day. Cars are divided into 2 tiers for matchmaking balance, and each model has a weight statistic that influences its handling.
Wolf and Sheep
Wolf and Sheep is a survival and chase game where participants take on the role of either a wolf or a sheep. The number of wolves depends on the size of the group, ranging from 1 wolf in small lobbies to 4 wolves in larger matches. Roles are randomly assigned at the start of each game.
Wolves move faster and gain time for every sheep they catch. Their objective is to eliminate all sheep before the match timer reaches zero. Sheep must avoid pursuit, work together when possible, and survive until the round ends. Sheep can also collect coins that respawn at short intervals whenever the total number on the map is low.
Both wolves and sheep have several possible classes, each with its own ability. Wolves may have powers such as invisibility, tracking footprints, or teleporting to specific points. Sheep classes may disguise themselves, place mines, detect fallen teammates, or charge to stun wolves. Sheep can carry 1 temporary ability item at a time, including options such as speed boosts, invisibility power ups, or revive bottles that offer a chance to return a teammate to the game.
Rocket Rush
Rocket Rush places players in a vertical climbing 2D challenge where the goal is to reach the highest possible altitude while avoiding hazards. Participants control their rocket by clicking to thrust upward. Each player begins with 3 hearts, and damage removes 1 heart. When all hearts are lost, the player enters spectator mode.
Matches may include between 5-15 players, or players can choose to compete alone against AI opponents. The game features several power ups such as extra hearts, invincibility, shock waves, speed boosts, and turbo bursts. These abilities can clear enemies, increase altitude gains, or impact nearby players.
Archer
Archer is a balloon shooting game for 4-12 players. Each match contains 10 rounds and every player receives a single arrow in each round while having to choose which balloon to target. Different balloon colors provide different point values or effects. Blue balloons give 1 point, red balloons give 2 points, white balloons cause an explosion that pops surrounding balloons, green balloons provide an extra arrow, and black balloons remove the player’s ability to shoot that round.
You can try out these games for yourself by connecting your wallet to the game’s official website.
