GameFi ecosystem MOBOX has announced Dragon’s Flame Phase II, the final event for the legacy version of Dragonverse, which has received some major changes that will effectively lead to the game shutting down.

Event Details

After recently holding the first phase of the Dragon’s Flame event, this second one, subtitled The Burning Ceremony, is also set to reward MODragon holders by burning Gems, Stones, and MODragons. This time around, participants will not only have a chance at earning $ETH, but also the platform’s native token, $MBOX.

Detailed information on the event is set to be revealed next week according to the official announcement.

What Are the Major Changes?

Starting from today, March 7th, numerous features Dragonverse Legacy are being discounted. These features include Gems crafting, Dragon Souls production, the Gems & Stones Marketplace, MODragon Expedition, breeding and hatching.

Other features that will continue to temporarily function include MODragon blessing, mining, and burning Gems and Stones. All of these features however will stop working at the end of the recently announced event. Info on when the latest event will start and end does not seem to be available at the time of writing, but when it does officially conclude, this old version of Dragonverse will end up getting closed, thus paving the way for the new Dragonverse NEO to take center stage, the co-created and co-governed open world in which “the essence of MODragon will flourish in an even more vibrant and exhilarating world” while your past achievements and contributions “will be honored and magnified in Dragonverse NEO,” according to the official post.
