The Sandbox has kicked off the AdventureWorld: The Wildlands LAND Sale, and if you join in at some point from April 23rd to May 7th, you have a chance of securing a metaverse plot next to neighborhoods inspired by big names such as Bruce Lee, Jurassic World, and the British Museum.

How Does The Sandbox’s AdventureWorld: The Wildlands LAND Sale Work?

This LAND Sale in The Sandbox revolves around The Wildlands, the last neighborhood in AdventureWorld, a digital amusement park that had its first LAND Sale in September and October 2024 in the form of the Defender District. After a couple of months, we have now reached the final LAND Sale for this area.

The Wildlands is placed between Defender District and Brawlers Ring, with the former featuring Attack on Titan, while the latter includes King Kong of Skull Island. This final neighborhood is said to combine “a thrilling blend of history, legendary icons, and global culture.”

If you like the sound of that, then you may want to snag one of 577 plots of LAND that are included in this sale. By doing so, you’ll have the opportunity build your own experiences for other players to enjoy while neighboring areas that are inspired by Jurassic World, Bruce Lee, and the British Museum. Next to being so close to these names, you will also be near partner studios Reality+ Studio and Vaux Machina, as well as 20 winners of the Alpha Season 5 Game Jam, which ended on April 29th, with the most talented builders set to be presented on May 17th in a live awards show.

While the total supply for this sale is 577 plots of LAND, this is more specifically divided like so:

  • 486 Standard LANDs
  • 28 Premium LANDs
  • Auctions via their partner, GBM
  • Raffle mints and timed auctions from their partner, MOOAR

GBM is hosting a couple of auctions using their Bid-to-Earn mechanic, where participants are rewarded in $SAND tokens every time they get outbid, with higher bids receiving more rewards. They are doing a number of different auctions:

  • 2 Premium LAND auctions
  • 6 Standard LAND auctions
  • 3 auctions for 3x3 Estates (each composed of 9 LANDs)
  • 1 auction for a 6x6 Estate (total of 36 LANDs)

Next to GBM, multi-chain reward marketplace MOOAR is another partner collaborating in this sale. The creator-centric launchpad is doing a raffle mint at a fixed price sale alongside timed auctions. In total, MOOAR is having 34 Standard LANDs on sale:

  • 26 Standard LANDs on raffle mint
  • 6 Standard LAND timed auctions
  • 2 Premium LAND timed auctions close to the Bruce Lee estate

By becoming a part of The Wildlands neighborhood, you get to unlock physical rewards such as a Jurassic World t-shirt for all LAND purchasers. As a Bruce Lee Premium LAND owner, you can also look forward to getting a Creator Asset Pack that comes with a Bruce Lee Companion Figurine and Little Dragon Nunchucks, with the figurine possible to place inside your own experiences, while the Nunchucks can be equipped and worn in-game by your Avatar. You should also get a Legendary T.rex Egg digital collectible that is worth 2650 EP.

If your Premium LAND purchase assigns you to Jurassic World instead, then you can expect to be rewarded with a physical Jurassic World Raptor Blue Figurine, alongside a Legendary T.rex Egg digital collectible and a Creator Asset Pack that includes the Baby Blue Figurine, Mosquito in Amber, and Owen’s Tracker Vest collectible digital props.

To participate in The Wildlands LAND Sale, The Sandbox users can use the link found in the official X announcement to get started.

If you want to take part in the GBM auctions, which are scheduled for May 7th, you can head on over to the official auctions page on that day to start bidding. These auctions are planned to last for 7 days, with all participants set to be eligible for both Standard and Jurassic World premium digital rewards. Claiming digital rewards and premium physical items will require having a Sandbox account that is linked to the wallet used to bid on LAND, as well as an active account email so you can be contacted for delivery details.

For MOOAR raffle mints and timed auctions, you can head on over to the official website on May 7th, when 2 LANDs are planned to go live, followed by a couple more plots every day, with every raffle and auction set to last for 3 days.
