AMGI Studios has announced the launch of a new ‘Fully Loaded’ update for My Pet Hooligan, which not only improves the core gameplay experience, but also sets up the foundation for upcoming web3 activations, such as exclusive cosmetics.

What’s New in the ‘Fully Loaded’ Update?

This new game build is packed with significant updates and improvements while serving as the launchpad for upcoming blockchain-related features.

Specifically, the ‘Fully Loaded’ update introduces a new battle zone called Big Energy Carrot Stadium while adding a Faction Reputation teaser, updated skateboard physics, reload animations, melee weapon combat improvements, weapon movement speed modifiers, performance improvements, web3 backend infrastructure, web3 exclusive cosmetics, and the ability to change Skateboard and Water Pistol Skins. The Founders Pass has been removed from the menu as a result of the transition to the new Faction Progression system, but the team does have “a plan for these items in a future release.”

The new stadium can be played in Hangout and competitive modes, while the Faction Reputation teaser means that you can now pledge allegiance to a Faction. As you play, you get to increase your reputation level to unlock “sick faction drip.” The next update should add in the full Faction Reputation system.

Skateboard physics have been updated to feel much more physical now, and thanks to the addition of gravity, going downhill feels faster than ever. You can also change your Skateboard and Water Pistol Skins now if you’d like to change your style. Reload animations have now been completely added to the game, meaning that it’s now possible to interrupt the reload of certain weapons, causing them to be half-reloaded instead. With the addition of movement speed modifiers to weapons, your arsenal now actually impacts how fast you move, requiring you to be more strategic with your choice of weaponry. Melee weapon combat has been improved to now allow you to make a much larger leap from the alternative attack option, and you can now even use melee weapons in mid-air and fly long distances, opening up more ways to destroy your opponents. Various optimizations to the game have also been made, so players should hopefully see better performance for a smoother blockchain gaming experience.

When it comes to crypto-specific updates, the team has successfully implemented web3 backend infrastructure to the game, which will soon allow players to buy on-chain items from the game’s store and have them properly appear in player inventories through the Karrat Protocol. Further details are planned to be revealed ahead of the launch of Studio Chain. The game’s official web3 marketplace will soon be getting exclusive cosmetics for players to buy and own. It will be possible to earn some of them through in-game activities or competitions, while some of them will likely only be possible to acquire as a purchase.

What Is the Studio Chain?

The Studio Chain is an Arbitrum-powered chain focused on making it easy to implement web3 native features in entertainment and gaming projects while using $KARRAT as the core ecosystem token for all transactions. It was announced in March 2025 by the Karrat Foundation, who are collaborating with the Arbitrum Foundation to soon launch this gaming-focused chain in which My Pet Hooligan will act as the ecosystem’s flagship title and pave the way for benefits such as seamless in-game asset ownership and improved interoperability.

With this chain, AMGI Studios is able to incorporate various web3 components to their game without disrupting the core gameplay experience. By adding web3 backend infrastructure to the game, the developers are able to connect to the game’s web portal and keep all crypto asset interactions outside the game itself. This will allow the game to launch on Xbox and Steam in the future as a web2-friendly title. For now, anyone interested can buy the game on the Epic Games Store.

What Is My Pet Hooligan?

My Pet Hooligan is a multiplayer third-person shooter in which you play as anthropomorphic rabbits called Hooligans and fight each other using various weapons and explosives in the enclosed chaotic battle zones of Hooliland City. Collect the most points by defeating other players in action-packed PvP gameplay to win matches while exploring the vibrant city with your trusty skateboard. Traverse environments in style by chaining flips and grabs to create stylish combos that increase your boost meter to allow you to move even faster.

This web3 game is not a traditional play to earn title, but instead is one that places more of a focus on a play to own model in order to reward dedicated players and long-term holders with $KARRAT tokens. $KARRAT is an ERC20 utility and governance token designed to power the Karrat Protocol, a decentralized gaming infrastructure layer that the game will use together with the Studio Chain to enable players to use NFTs inside the game as playable assets.

Earlier this month, Animoca Brands partnered with My Pet Hooligan devs to support the upcoming Studio Chain launch while buying $KARRAT tokens from the open market. Back in February, My Pet Hooligan revealed the 2025 roadmap.
