My Defi Pet launched its new, second version a few days ago. This development is coming after its first anniversary with many exciting events to show for it. The game also released a guide detailing the changes in features and functionalities.

What To Know About Pets V2

Although Pets V1 is available for play, players will no longer be able to buy or breed them. Instead, players can convert them into Pets V2, which will result in a change of appearance and stats but will not change their stages or gene. However, this is only possible if a Pet is at level 20 before July 7th, and it costs 2 million foods before an egg can be raised to that level. So evolution for V1 costs 5 $DPET token, and it will involve burning the token before minting a new one.

$DPET tokens are needed for buying eggs, breeding Pets, and evolving Pets above level 10. In addition, users can put soul stones in their Pets at greater levels, boosting their performance and earning bonuses. The egg of V2 costs 10 $DPET, and the first evolution process costs 10 $DPET too. The max limit for breeding is seven times, after which the game can decide to adjust the price for breeding. 

The game also launched a new marketplace, and a third-party site. The team hopes this new version will improve the overall quality of gameplay for its gamers.
