The team behind Kitsumon, a Polygon-based NFT game featuring MOBA game modes and more, has revealed two of the various different types of lands that will be available for players to explore in the game.

The first type of land that was revealed earlier this week is the most common one, and that is the land in the Plains biome. In these land plots full off greenery, there aren’t any positive or negative effects placed on the professions available in the game, such as farming, mining, cooking and more. Objects that can be found throughout these lands are also available in a balanced amount. Pretty much everything in these common lands is balanced, making them a great place for players to get started at. There are no plants that are exclusive to this type of biome, neither is there exclusive crafting and alchemy quests, nor is there the sixth mine layer, which is only present in the Badlands. More info on the Plains biome can be found here.

The other one revealed so far is the Forest biome. Players who will want to focus on the farming profession will want to stick by the forests, featuring various different trees to chop down to get wood for crafting items or heating. Rare creatures can also be found lurking deep in the forests, some of which are friendly, while others, less so. The speed at which plants grow on land plots in the Forest biome is increased by 5%, while the speed for the growth of all trees except Magic Trees is increased by 15%. There’s even a special type of horse that can be raised in this type of biome. Those who try to do mining in this biome will be at a disadvantage, as the chances of extracting ores from rocks are lowered by 5%. For more details, check out the official post here.

Information on various other biomes will be revealed over time, with details on the next one, presumably a desert biome, set to be unveiled on August 29.
