FSL (Find Satoshi Lab) has announced a new Web3 lifestyle app: STEPN GO, which adds new features to build upon their well-known move-to-earn game.

What makes this version different from the original?

The upcoming new blockchain game brings in new social-focused features to make the move-to-earn title focused not only on rewarding an active lifestyle but also on socializing with your friends and family.

To achieve this, the studio is introducing the Haus System, which will make onboarding newcomers easier than before as owners of Sneakers will simply be able to lend their NFTs to friends and family to get them started on earning from walking and running right away. Rewards are given in the form of the upcoming new GO GAME TOKEN: GGT. To encourage social interaction, users will be able to chat in an Interactive Map using a customizable 3D Avatar. That being said, users will have the option to craft unique Outfits to equip their Avatar with. It will be possible to add friends to a friend list, as well as place Running Invitations on the Map for others to join.

An Energy System will also be included that will have users burn their Sneakers in order to gain Energy and increase the Energy Cap. This system will be added in an effort to ensure long-term economic sustainability.

The app will utilize a Web3 Universal Login and Loyalty Program called FSL ID to make onboarding easy by only requiring an email and Activation Code to dive in. According to the FAQ on the new website, an Activation Code can be acquired from current players and from the team on X and Discord where they will often give these codes away.

This version is not replacing the original; both will simultaneously continue to be usable, according to the FAQ. An alpha test is scheduled to take place in Q3 2024, when it will be available for download on Android and iOS devices via the Play Store and App Store respectively.
