Gala Games has announced the start of the Snowfall Tournament for their Web3 match-3 title, Dragon Strike: Puzzle RPG.

The Snowfall Tournament

The Snowfall Tournament is the final special competition of this year for this blockchain title. It started on December 21st at 1 PM PST and will last for a whole week, running alongside the standard Sub-Zero Tournament. 

This event consists of a beginner and expert tier, with your tournament score going towards the Gala Games leaderboard, according to the announcement.

For this winter-themed tournament, players are tasked with facing waves of snowy monsters in order to gain Crests for their guild while trying to top the leaderboard for a chance at gaining a special avatar and more significant rewards.

Frostlands Blizzard

Included with this holiday-themed event is Frostlands Blizzard, an Impossible Dungeon in which you attempt to make your way through 7 challenging stages in order to make it to Santa’s Frostland Cavern. If you do, you will then be able to jump into the endless dungeon, featuring 2 secret bosses waiting to give you a festive surprise.

According to the official post, by completing the top levels you will be eligible to earn more loot through reward tiers, with special prizes set to be awarded to the top 500 players.

Next to the dungeon, players can also gain various holiday items in Guild Gifts and Mission Chests, as well as take advantage of sales of 2 holiday bundles: The Huge Holiday Sale, and The Stocking Stuffer Pack. The former is said to include lots of consumables, Swords, Dragon Food, 10k Gems, and more, while the latter includes 3000 Gems and various other gifts for your guild and heroes.
