Open Beta for Dawn of Time

Chronos: Dawn of Time has released an open beta version of their multiplayer RPG, which will be available on the increasingly popular Elixir platform. Elixir is well on their way to becoming the Steam of web-based gaming!

A beta code is required to enter Chronos. Join their Discord server and submit a request ticket to obtain these.

Chronos is running a special competition to raise awareness of the launch. Players can gain access by participating in the new Ambush mode match. Ambush mode pits one to four players against waves of progressively more difficult enemies in an arena.

The contest offers a $100 prize. To participate, play Ambush mode and then post a screenshot of your best result in the Chronos Discord server's #ambush-challenge section. If you improve on your previous best score, you may enter multiple times.

Players do not need to own any NFTs to play, but getting back up after your initial gear wears out is a difficult process. Finding enough resources to craft takes a long time, and the equipment wears out quickly. On Open Sea, players can purchase game NFTs (Travelers – Items).

Details of the Chronos

Chronos is a multiplayer, side-scrolling, RPG game. Players share a central social hub with shops, crafting stations and such. They then venture through the portal to join a match. Chronos features several game modes, including team PvP, survival arena PvE, and a mixed PvE / PvP mode.

Players can earn crafting resources and Dark Aether tokens by playing matches. But each character has limited energy, which refills slowly over time. Players can spend crystals to upgrade their character stats and spend skill points acquired in-game to also improve and customize their characters with special abilities.
