The roadmap for Chain of Alliance, a turn-based party-builder RPG, has officially been updated to feature the developer’s present plans for the first half of 2024.
New Roadmap Details

The new roadmap features info on what the community can expect to see make its way into the game during Q1 and Q2 of this year. To successfully achieve all these milestones, the team has brought new developers in to make them "well-prepared for the exciting steps ahead.”
Q1 Plans
For the first quarter of this year, the main goal for the team is to introduce a new combat system. The team has decided to further refine the system in an effort to make gameplay more engaging than ever before. In line with the new system, various rebalancing changes will be needed so as to try and make “all characters equally enjoyable and competitive,” thus making it another priority for this quarter.
Alongside a new combat system are also various backend improvements that the developers plan to make in order to improve the game’s optimization and form the foundation for future features. A new user interface is also in the works that should provide a more user-friendly experience as it is set to feature a game codex, redesigned tabs, and more welcome additions.
Q2 Milestones
For the second quarter, the team is set on introducing tournaments, as well as tutorials to provide a better onboarding experience. It seems that there will also be a beta release through which the goal will be to provide a “polished and balanced combat system.” The game’s first economy features will also be available for players to try out.
Future Updates
The official announcement also teases some plans beyond their newly-published roadmap. One of them includes releasing the CoA token at some point in the second half of this year, while another includes adding the ability to make NFT transfers between player accounts. Further info on tokenomics and future updates will be revealed in the months ahead.
