Gaming studio GAMEE has announced that a leaderboard titled “The Good, The Bad and The Beast” is coming to arcade gaming platform Arc8 exclusively for Moca Season Beast owners.

This exclusive leaderboard will give away rewards based on a snapshot that will be taken on May 21st at 1 PM UTC. The snapshot will take into account every Moca Season Beast you own. It doesn’t matter if you bought it or purchased it, as each will award you with points used to rank you on the leaderboard that is giving away 270,500 Mocaverse Realm Points for the top 1000 holders. Rarer Beasts provide you with more leaderboard points. Leaderboard prizes are distributed as follows:

  • 1st–10th: 450 Moca RP (10x)
  • 11th–100th: 400 Moca RP (90x)
  • 101st–500th: 300 Moca RP (500x)
  • 501st–1000th: 220 Moca RP (500x)

Regardless of if you end up ranking among the top holders or not, each Beast that you own will reward you with 1000 Loot, with rarity not affecting the amount of Loot that you get. Loot represents points that you can collect through the Phoenix Protocol, with use cases currently unknown. The utility of Loot is set to be revealed in the final episode of the Phoenix Protocol.

To get more Beasts before the snapshot takes place, players can mint their Moca Season Beast NFT in Arc8 when it gets to level 16, or buy them on OpenSea, where the floor price is 7.5 $MATIC at the time of writing. Any Beast you mint or buy before the snapshot will count, with the 24-hour buying/minting cooldown having no effect on this event. After the snapshot, the team plans on revealing the full leaderboard on May 24th in GAMEE’s official Discord server. Rewards should end up being distributed shortly after the holders with the most points are revealed.
