WAX-powered sci-fi Discord game Aphelium is heading into Season 4 on June 4th with a longer duration and a bigger prize pool compared to the previous season.

Season Details

While Season 3 lasted 45 days and consisted of over $2.5k USD prizes next to token and NFT rewards, the 4th season will last 60 days and come with a prize pool said to be worth more than $5k USD. Specifically, players will compete for $3k USD in WAXP, 2 million $AFG tokens, 3 billion WUFF, and various NFTs.

In this season, players can unlock new dimensions using WAXP, WUFF or stickers. This means that players will get to collect various resource while completing jobs, earning WUFF, meeting new species and exploring “limitless levels.” Job Boards contain quests from NPCs (and players later on) through which you can not only earn WUFF, but also NFTs, AP and special items. There are also new lootboxes to get WUFF rewards in.

This season also marks the introduction of Bank Accounts, meaning you no longer have to use any website to make use of WUFF, sticker NFTs or WAXP tokens, as they are now accessible straight through Discord.

Rewards

What remains the same is that anyone can jump in for free and that players can earn rewards by having a high amount of AP, with the top 30 players holding the biggest amounts of AP to receive a share of the $3000 prize pool distributed in WAXP. The percentage of the prize pool you’ll get depends on the total AP of the top 30 alongside the amount of AP you have. If you rank in the top 50th you will win WUFF and $AFG tokens, while the top 10 get a Trophy NFT. This is how the AP Leaderboard prize distribution looks like:

  • 1st Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 150,000,000 WUFF + 150K $AFG + Trophy NFT
  • 2nd Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 100,000,000 WUFF + 100K $AFG + Trophy NFT
  • 3rd Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 70,000,000 WUFF + 70K $AFG + Trophy NFT
  • 4th Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 50,000,000 WUFF + 60K $AFG + Trophy NFT
  • 5th Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 50,000,000 WUFF + 60K $AFG + Trophy NFT
  • 6th-10th Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 25,000,000 WUFF each + 50K $AFG each + Trophy NFT
  • 11th-20th Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 15,000,000 WUFF + 30K $AFG each
  • 21st-30th Place: WAXP according to the AP they made + 10,000,000 WUFF + 20K $AFG each
  • 31st-40th Place: 7,000,000 WUFF + 10K $AFG each
  • 41st-50th Place: 5,000,000 WUFF + 5K $AFG each

Players who end up ranking in “strategic spots” that include Zero Spots (60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, 100th) will get $10 each, while players who rank from 110th to 200th in tens receive $5 each.

Level 15+ players also stand a chance of receiving prizes in special categories:
