Mullet Cop is a top-down isometric simulator that lets players dive into the gritty yet quirky world of Megamall 4472-158. Inspired by Tom Lintern’s cult comic, the game puts players in control of Fred “the Mulletcop” and his microwave sidekick, M.I.T.T., as they work to keep the mall in check. The game blends mall management with action elements, offering players control over both the environment and the chaos that unfolds.

The game’s top-down isometric view gives players a broad perspective of Megamall 4472-158, allowing them to manage layouts and monitor unfolding events effectively. This setup is ideal for those who enjoy both planning and reacting quickly as the mall’s dynamics shift.

A unique feature of the game is its violence slider, which lets players adjust the atmosphere of the mall. At its calmest, the mall bustles peacefully with shoppers and staff. Increasing the slider gradually transforms the environment, introducing enemies, mall cops, and eventually sparking riots and looting, changing the tone entirely.

Building and customizing the mall is a big part of the experience. Players can use the game’s random mall generator and digital paint brush tools to shape layouts, select different store types, and furnish the spaces however they like, making each mall unique.

The game also offers players a choice in how they engage with the action. Some might prefer to be passive observers, letting the game’s systems unfold naturally, while others might jump in and take an active role in keeping the mall under control. This flexibility in playstyle makes the game accessible to different kinds of players, whether they enjoy management or direct intervention.
