GateQuake

GateQuake is a browser-based, last-man-standing battle royale played for real stakes on Solana. Up to 36 fighters drop into a brutalist arena suspended over an endless void. Periodic earthquakes shake the perimeter into the abyss and void random interior tiles, so the solid ground never stops shrinking and there is nowhere to camp. Combat is melee and thrown weapons - fists, knife, sword and hammer, each with four attack variants - alongside grenades, jetpacks and shield crystals that spawn through the match.

You enter through gates. One free Practice gate needs no wallet and no deposit, so you can learn the whole game without spending anything. Nine paid gates run escalating stakes from $0.001 to $100,000 per entry, and the winner of a paid match takes the entire pot. Three tournament gates unlock at 10, 50 and 100 lifetime wins; three VIP gates unlock at $50K, $250K and $500K lifetime wagered.

Balances are held in GQ, a USDC-backed credit: 1 USDC = 1,000 GQ on deposit, converting back at 0.97 on withdrawal. That flat 3% spread is the only cut the house takes. There is no game token, no NFT, no presale and no mint. Deposit and withdraw USDC on Solana to any wallet you control - every player gets a unique on-chain deposit address, so transfers from exchanges, hardware wallets and multisigs all credit correctly.

The server is fully authoritative: it simulates every player at 30Hz and resolves all damage, so clients cannot fake hits, teleport or see through walls. Paid entry requires a wallet-signature session, and gate progression only counts from matches with three or more distinct paying wallets, which shuts down self-play farming.
