Solana Mines is a play-to-earn space-mining game from Artificial Studios Crypto Gaming, built on Solana. You recruit a crew of NFT workers, build spaceships, put them together into fleets and send them on mining expeditions across 30 planets. Every successful expedition earns $MINES, the game’s own token. The game brings back the fleet-and-expedition style of play that defined the 2021 play-to-earn era, rebuilt for Solana’s speed and low fees.

How it works

Everything starts with your NFTs. Workers are the miners, and each one has a rarity and a mining power. Spaceships carry your crew into space, and each ship can carry a set number of workers. Mint both from the in-game shop, or buy and sell them on the player marketplace.

Combine spaceships and workers into a fleet. Your fleet’s total mining power decides which planets it can reach. With 30 planets to explore, there’s a clear path from your first small fleet to an armada able to reach the richest worlds at the edge of the galaxy.

Before a fleet can fly it needs an active contract and fuel. Contracts keep your fleet in service for a set period, and fuel powers each trip. Once your fleet is ready, choose a planet and launch an expedition. Every planet has its own success rate and reward: closer worlds are safer, while the far planets pay much more but need a lot of mining power to reach. When the expedition returns, successful missions pay $MINES into your rewards balance, and your fleet earns XP.
