Yuga Labs has released new trailer for their Bored Ape game, Dookey Dash: Unclogged, the upcoming free-to-play version of last year’s NFT-gated endless runner, revealing that this spring, everyone will be able to compete for a prize pool that will be worth a minimum $1 million.
Revealed for this year’s NFT Paris during the weekend, the latest video ahead of the game’s return as a F2P title shows off more gameplay while teasing the huge prize pool. In development by Faraway, who you may know as the developer of Mini Royale: Nations, this Bored Ape-themed title will have players earn golden plungers while making their way through sewers, dodging obstacles in an effort to get the highest score in order to top the leaderboard. The footage shows that there will be a weekly and seasonal leaderboard through which it seems these golden plungers will be earned.
Aside from the mention of the prize pool’s value, details on how rewards will be distributed do not seem to be available at the time of writing. While the video seems to tease ApeCoin as the token used for reward distribution, Yuga Labs refused to confirm when asked by Decrypt, who were told that more information will be given in the near future.
The game will go live this spring on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS as a free downloadable title with optional in-app purchases.
