Yooldo, the developer of play-to-earn game Trouble Punk – Cyber Galz, has announced an airdrop program for the upcoming $YOOL governance token.
According to the program announcement, 10 – 20% of the “overall volume,” by which I assume they mean the total supply, is set to be allocated specifically for airdrops. These airdrop tokens are said to be a part of the ecosystem fund, of which 10% will be unlocked straight away at TGE and be linearly vested for 20 months. It’s also stated that the airdrop is set to start at the same time as TGE, and that around 30% of the tokens vested at TGE are reserved for a flexible pool that the team will use to reward users for participating in various upcoming events, some of which have been announced.
One of the events that the studio has announced is called “Inflation-free Tokenomics,” which requires holding $TROB in your YOOLDO account to be eligible for participation. Specifically, a minimum of 1000 $TROB is needed to participate, which is said to be exchangeable back for $10 USDC.
Anyone interested in participating has two ways to get $TROB: through in-game competition, or via a fixed price swap. The first involves earning $TROB by competing against other players in Trouble Punk, while the second method involves swapping $USDC for $TROB on the developer’s official website. It is said that you can exchange the tokens back into $USDC at the same rate at any time. You may get bonus points depending on how long you hold $TROB. If you want to earn $TROB by playing the game, you will actually need to swap in $USDC for $TROB anyways, as you need to use $TROB as an entry fee for the game’s league mode in order to have a chance at earning more.
