In the latest move, XPLA and Matter Labs have joined forces to launch zkXPLA. This platform is powered by zkSync technology and aims to transform how we perceive blockchain gaming.
Paul Kim, XPLA team lead, expressed excitement about this partnership: "Our mission is to turn XPLA into the ultimate Web3 gaming platform, prioritizing trust, transparency, and compliance. With the support of Matter Labs and recent partnerships with industry giants, we are poised to enter a new phase in Web3 game publishing."
This joint venture is set to improve the infrastructure for blockchain games on the Ethereum network. zkXPLA will offer a custom mainnet with features like interchain integration, easy addition of new games, and better security. It aims to speed up the creation and launch of Web3 games, making the process smoother for all.
One standout feature of zkXPLA is its use of hyperchain infrastructure. This will allow game publishers and developers to launch games more efficiently, boosting security and transparency while cutting transaction costs. What's more, XPLA's Game SDK and Vault will be integrated with zkSync. This means developers can use Solidity, a popular coding language for Ethereum smart contracts, more easily in their games.
Support for this partnership comes from major Web3 firms. These companies, serving as validators and partners on the XPLA mainnet, include Google Cloud, LayerZero, Ubisoft, and gumi.
Looking forward, both firms plan to explore new Web3 entertainment experiences beyond gaming. With the help of XPLA's investors like Com2uS, they aim to venture into areas like VR/XR, K-Pop, animation, and webtoons.
Rich Kim, Head of Web3 Entertainment and Media at Matter Labs, highlights the importance of platforms like XPLA, stating: "Builders must have the necessary tools to take advantage of zkSync's technology, and platforms like XPLA provide a necessary service, fueling the adoption of digital assets."
zkXPLA marks a major step forward in blockchain gaming, combining XPLA's expertise with Matter Labs' technology. This partnership is set to create a leading gaming ecosystem that focuses on security, scalability, and user experience.
