XBorg Launches $XBG Reward Program Pledge Leaderboard

Blockchain tech company XBorg has officially launched the $XBG Reward Program Leaderboard, giving holders an opportunity to boost their holdings based on their ranking during Season 6 the protocol’s ongoing soft-staking program.

What Is the $XBG Reward Program Pledge Leaderboard?

The $XBG Reward Program Leaderboard is a pledge-focused ladder for Season 6 of XBorg’s staking program that allows holders to boost their potential seasonal earnings. Rankings are updated every day, meaning the boosts are applied every day too, so if you can rank higher the next day, you could get a better boost. Everyone gets at least some boost whatever the leaderboard position is, but those who rank in the top 50% and higher get a significant increase.

To participate in this leaderboard, you need to either pledge (soft-stake) more $XBG tokens during the current season or contribute to the ecosystem in various ways. All of this affects your Token Holder Score which is what is used to determine your ranking. The score can go up to 10,000 points.

Specifically, to increase your Token Holder Score for a higher spot on the ladder, you’ll want to pledge as many $XBG tokens as you can, but you’ll also want to increase your earned APY boosts from ecosystem participation. The latter takes into account season streaks, holding NFTs, participation in governance, and the Community App. By committing more tokens and being engaged in ecosystem activities, you’re more likely to get a higher score. Whether you want to simply focus on holding tokens or participating in the ecosystem is up to you, as the scoring system is said to be designed to “balance these factors” in order to ensure “both active participants and committed token holders are rewarded.”

Here is how boosts are applied every day:

• Top 1% (1-10): +30%
• Top 2.5% (11-25): +25%
• Top 5% (26-50): +20%
• Top 10% (51-100): +15%
• Top 25% (101-250): +10%
• Top 50% (251-500): +5%
• Remaining: +2.5%

How to Participate in Season 6 of $XBG Reward Program

Season 6 of the $XBG Reward Program went live on February 11th, almost a week before the leaderboard launched, giving the community a chance to earn a share of the 1 million $XBG prize pool by soft-staking or pledging $XBG tokens.

You can pledge tokens by heading to the official page linked in the official X announcement.

The program is said to provide up to 73% APY, partner token airdrops, and reward multipliers. if you move or sell pledged $XBG tokens, you lose your rewards. In order to pledge, you need to either bind your wallet to the Community App, or take part in governance.

Aside from the Pledge Leaderboard, there are a number of other ways to gain reward multipliers. One of them includes getting boosts for increasing your pledged tokens for this season by a certain amount. So, if you soft-stake 10k more $XBG compared to last season, you get a +5% boost. If you want a +20% boost, you need to pledge 50k more $XBG tokens than you did in the previous season, while a +30% boost is reserved for those that pledge 100k more $XBG tokens than in the last season.

Connect your wallet to the Community App and progress through it to get another boost depending on your ranking. The Community App is a browser-based gamified platform in which you gain XP and level up by completing various quests that can include both social and gameplay tasks. The higher your level and the more XP you have, the better your spot on the leaderboard, which distributes boosts in the following way:

• Top 1% (1-10): +30%
• Top 2.5% (11-25): +25%
• Top 5% (26-50): +20%
• Top 10% (51-100): +15%
• Top 25% (101-250): +10%
• Top 50% (251-500): +5%
• Remaining: +2.5%

You can also get boosts this season by holding XBorg NFTs. The more you own, the more boosts you have, with each Prometheus NFT providing a +20% boost, while every Chestplate NFT adds a +2.5% boost. All this is uncapped, so you can stack as much as you want. Prometheus NFTs can be found on OpenSea via the Ethereum network at a floor price of 0.7199 $ETH at the time of writing, while Chestplate NFTs are up on Magic Eden on Polygon, with the cheapest currently costing 479 $POL.

Participating in governance also gets you boosts in the following way:

• +5 votes: 20%
• 4-5 votes: +15%
• 2-3 votes: +10%
• 1 vote: +5%

A new proposal regarding growth token utilization was just recently published, so you might want to vote on that.

Last but not least are season streaks. If you pledged in previous seasons and do again this season, you get a +5% boost per each consecutive season you’ve pledged for, uncapped.
