After starting off Season 3: The Power of Battle last month, developer Zillion Whales is now back with a major new update for their free-to-play RTS, Wild Forest.
Season Update Details

This update marks the launch of the highly-anticipated Premium Battle Pass Quest Tracker, allowing players to easily see how many days they have left to unlocking the Premium Battle Pass. With this update, this also means that players can now finally unlock this Premium track and claim their rewards by heading to the new Quest Tracker screen, accessed through an icon placed on the left side of the game’s main screen.
That’s not all though; various other changes have been made to help provide a better gameplay experience, including performance improvements and an easier reward collection process that now lets you quickly move to the final reward screen when opening a chest. The bug causing incorrect match result calculations should now be fixed, while a new group indicator has now been added in the form of the color’s circle beneath them, which is said to make it “simpler to identify them compared to changing the level icon.” The current unit level is now shown above them, with the icon color serving to mark rarity, making it easier to distinguish between the same units of different rarity in your deck.
Unit Abilities
A couple of changes have been made to unit abilities. In particular, the Knight, Storm Cat and Burner have all been updated.
The Knight’s Splash ability should now work properly, making it possible for the unit to attack more than one target in front of it within a small radius.
Storm Cat’s Stun ability is no more, as it’s been replaced by Bouncing Attack, which means that this unit’s attacks now bounce to two more targets, making it useful for dealing crowd damage.
The Burner’s penetrating damage has also been removed in exchange for a new ability called Increasing Damage. This abilty now makes the unit deal more damage the more attacks the unit makes on the same target, with damage resetting to its base stat when changing the target, making the unit particularly useful for dealing with buildings and units that have lots of HP.
