The Beam network has officially announced that the web3 RPG BattleRise: Kingdom of Champions is soon joining the sovereign gaming chain.
What Will BattleRise Bring to the Beam Network?
When exactly will this blockchain game integrate support for this network is unknown at the time of writing. However, what is known is that Beam represents one of the many blockchain networks that the developers of the game are planning to integrate to deliver an accessible multi-chain gaming experience. The game’s team recently asked its community as to which chains they’d like to see added, a day before revealing the new collaboration. How this all will work is planned to be revealed soon, according to the official announcement thread.
Following this announcement, it looks like a new NFT mint has been teased to be coming soon to this chain. Earlier this month, 1500 NFT skins were minted on Etherlink, an EVM-compatible layer 2 network that uses Tezos technology. We can probably look forward to seeing this Avalanche-powered chain have a similar mint take place soon, either with new skins, or similar skins of existing in-game characters but with some unique change, such as a different border.
What Is BattleRise?
BattleRise: Kingdom of Champions is a mobile fantasy collectible RPG in which players engage in turn-based battles to save the world of Eos from the forces of the God of Death. Form your own team of distinct upgradable Champions from various different factions and use their unique skills and abilities together to create powerful synergistic strategies.
There are 3 different game modes you can play through: Story mode, an endless dungeon mode, and the PvP Arena, giving players different ways to enjoy this web3 title. If you want to stick to PvE gameplay, you can simply enjoy the game’s main storyline and its challenging dungeons, while those looking to test their team compositions against other players can do so through synchronous PvP battles in the Arena. Going on an endless dungeon run will have you hunt down Tiamat and face three of his dangerous Heralds along the way. Rare loot and bonuses await to be collected from the dungeon shrines, but how you progress through a dungeon will depend on the narrative-impacting choices you make. Which shrine you inspect, what allies you choose, and which Gods you ask for blessings are all decisions that can influence your run.

As you play, you will get to earn a variety of different items, including relics, weapons, and more goodies to equip your Champions with to make them even stronger and more suitable to your preferred playstyle.
A new season called Heart of Gold kicked off almost a month ago, giving players new challenges to complete, new rewards to earn, a special bundle with items to upgrade your champions with, and a special dungeon path to battle through as part of a new event.
When it comes to web3 features, the game has its own NFT collection revolving around skins for its in-game Champions. Holding these however seems to be more than just for cosmetic purpose, as they also help increase your airdrop allocation of the upcoming $BATTLE token. The more NFTs you have and the longer you hold, the bigger your airdrop will be. Alternatively, you can also play to airdrop by climbing the in-game PvP and PvE leaderboards, where the top 100 in PvP and PvE will earn a share of 150k $BATTLE tokens based on the number of points earned from battles each month. Players can also do social tasks on the game’s questing platform and receive 1 $BATTLE per 100 points earned. This social campaign is scheduled to end on April 29th. No TGE date seems to be available at the time of writing.
BattleRise is available for download as a free to play title on Android and iOS via the Play Store and App Store respectively.
