Developer Hit Factor Inc. has revealed information on how the in-game economy of War Park, a free-to-play top-down tank shooter, works.
Essentially, the gameplay loop that is at the core of the game’s economy consists of players queuing up solo or in teams across a range of different PvE and PvP modes alongside ranked matches, tournaments and more. Players will be rewarded based on how well they played a match, but they can also get earnings by completing seasonal activities as well as by beating daily and weekly challenges. Resources gained from matches can be used to upgrade tanks and more.
As for the tanks themselves, the developers have stated that they are customizable with various different consumables, upgradable crew and craftable gear. More gear, seats for crew and other useful things can be unlocked by having a higher Tank Mastery, which gets leveled up over time the more XP is gained. Next to earning in-game resources, players also get to earn $CRUDE, with the amount gained depending on how actively they’re using the game’s features.
There will be free, Common tanks, which are not NFTs, but there will also be NFT tanks, a total of 12400 across 5 different rarities. Owners of NFT tanks can earn in-game resources faster, but can also lease their NFTs to other players, with both sides getting a piece of the $CRUDE pie, an ERC-20 token that is not available at the time of writing.
