Uldor, a web3-enabled Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), has announced the upcoming release of its Dread Arena. Dread Arena is a survival arena game set in the fantasy world of Uldor. Gamers must compete for survival against the multitude of the Terror King’s undead soldiers. Potential rewards will be awarded to those who last the longest in the survival game.
Uldor released a video trailer of Dread Arena. The team has made plans for three major phases of the development of the game. Phase 0, the first phase, centers mainly on the basics. This is to ensure that players can download and play the game. In addition, this will allow the team to receive early feedback and sort out major bugs. Phase 1, the second phase, will bring in leaderboards and rewards. It also introduces additional functionality, such as linking each player's account and wallet.
Progressively, phase 2, the final phase, will center on final improvements, fixes, and polish. This phase will also include the player's progression, likely through a battle pass feature.
Despite the progress made, the team has further emphasized that Dread Arena should remain considered an early demo preview. The team also mentioned that this is just a little taste of what is to come in the game. In addition, Uldor plans to build functionality for its partner projects. This will help them create their tournaments and events.
Uldor has yet to announce any specific requirements or dates regarding participation in the Dread Arena. However, their roadmap shows it launching before the end of 2022 with updates throughout 2023.
