Web3 gaming ecosystem UFO Gaming has announced the start of Phase 2 of their rollout, bringing Super Galactic officially live on the mainnet of the Beam network.
Super Galactic is a top-down shooter and the first play to earn game in the UFO Gaming ecosystem.
Available for download on Windows PCs and soon Android mobile devices while also being playable through web browsers, this free to play title puts players in the shoes of UFOeps soldiers that have elemental powers such as fire, electric, kinetic, and more. Set up your loadout and enter the arena for top-down action shooter gameplay for chaotic PvP and Team Deathmatch action.
Own the game’s NFTs to unlock play to earn gaming where players will be able to earn the upcoming UAP token by completing single-player missions. NFT holders can already start earning UAP by fighting other players in online modes, and in the future will be able to use the token to upgrade weapons, strengthen their character, and breed new warriors to further expand their roster.

The launch of Phase 2 means that Super Galactic is now out of closed beta and officially live on the Beam mainnet, with the core game now also stable enough for everyone to enjoy. While single-player deploy missions are fully tested and ready to go in terms of gameplay, the team has clarified that the UAP reward system for those quests is not ready yet. As such, the deploy button will stay disabled until the UAP smart contract goes properly live to enable earnings in solo missions. This contract is said to be already audited by Certik and is planned to be deployed in Phase 3, so once that phase goes live, NFT holders can look forward to earning tokens in missions while gaining the ability to spend tokens on upgrading characters and weapons, and eventually other token sinks too such as breeding and more. There are plans to introduce NFT renting as well. The team has also teased something big is inside the Mothership found at the UFO Gaming Hub, something that connects with $UFO, UAP, and another aspect “we’re not quite ready to reveal.” Whatever it is, they claim that it will “reshape how players interact with the ecosystem” and that Genesis Origin NFT holders will be the first to find out what’s inside.

To play to earn in UFO Gaming’s Super Galactic, you need to own one Genesis Origin NFT, which you can mint by heading to the UFO Gaming Hub where you’ll see a “Mint Now” button. Once you’ve connected your wallet to Beam, click that button to be taken to the Super Galactic Collection, where you will find another Mint Now button to click on, which will then take you the actual mint page where you can choose the quantity of NFTs as well as the payment option in USDT or $BEAM. The price to mint one Genesis Origin NFT is $250 in either case, and you won’t know which rarity you’ll get. The drop rates by rarity are 68% for Common, 30% for Uncommon, 1.8% for Rare, and 0.2% for an Epic NFT. The total supply is 10,000, or 1000 units per design. 310 NFTs have been minted at the time of writing.
