Tyranno Studios has announced Patch 1.6 of Blockchain Brawlers, a WAX-based PvP card game now referred to simply as Brawlers™, revealing a host of new updates that are making their way to the latest version of the Web3 title.
With the latest version comes a reset of the MMR leaderboards on April 26th at 10 AM PDT. This will mark the start of a new competition, featuring a prize pool of 1 million $BRWL tokens for the top 25 players. The event will end on June 7th at 5 PM PDT, after which the rewards will be distributed.
Following a community vote, players will need to play at least one game in Room 2 every day in order to avoid getting a 25-point deduction. Speaking of Room 2, the queue timer for it has been significantly increased from 90 seconds to 10 minutes.
To improve global connectivity and lower the amount of crashes occuring during matches, the matchmaking server has been relocated from Central Europe to US East. Players will now need to choose an in-game name for their loadout. Doing so will make the loadout valid, allowing players access to the new tournament.
In an effort to optimize the game and make it more accessible to a wider range of hardware, the developers have introduced resolution scaling, allowing players to switch between Low, Medium and High to find the setting that best runs on their machine.
Players will now start matches with 35 health points due to a new change to the power meter which causes your power meter to be halved if you lose a hand.
